Tiger Woods STATEMENT: Admits Affairs, Taking 'Indefinite Break From Professional Golf'
Commented Dec 13, 2009 at 09:21:45 in Sports
“People don't get that this is the same as in our own personal lives. We have the CHOICE to like or dislike someone based on their actions, morals and values. This is no different! It is each individual's CHOICE to support or not support Tiger Woods going forward. I personally don't associate with anyone who cheats on their spouse with MANY paid escorts, etc. Tiger Woods made his CHOICE, now he must respect the public's CHOICE to like or dislike what he has done and support or not support what he has done. This is no different than the average individual dealing with their aquaintances in real life!”

“Right on "talkingdog"! Tiger didn't hurt us personally, but it is our choice to support and watch him or not, just like he had the choice to be faithful or cheat on his wife. I agree with you. I will never watch this fool play golf again and I truly admired him before. And that is MY choice. HIS choice was to cheat on his spouse. Every time I look at him I am disgusted, just knowing what a low life he really is. No one can ever take away the fact that he is one of the greatest golfers ever, but AGAIN it is my choice to never watch him again! He knew the risk of his behavior, but that's what makes this an illness, because he risked everything just for sex.”

“The ONLY reason he is sorry is because he got caught! This would still be going on a year from now if he had not. Secondly, he is taking a break from golf because he is afraid, or I doubt ashamed, to show his face in public.”

“If an employee of a company yelled out something that was totally against what the CEO or Pesident of the company was speaking about, that person would lose their job! Also, I find it disturbing that a congressman, someone representing our country, can not have enough control over himself to refrain from yelling at the United States President in public and humiliating him. They work side by side and he has much opportunity to discuss his concerns in an "adult" manner, but chose to act like a child or a disgruntled employee.”

“No, give me, the tax payer, a break and you pay for his $100,000 night on the town. We didn't like what Bush was doing, but if Obama does the same then it's o.k.? Are you kidding me? From what elementary school did you graduate? Grow up and realize Obama is just another politician who thinks he can pull the blanket over our eyes and get away with spending our tax dollars for personal pleasures. I would be too ashamed to take my company's money for a "night out" knowing my co-workers were laid off!”

“And Joyce Behar, wow, she would know this because .......? How idiotic, to try to justify this by tossing in the old Bush card. Surprised no one has said anything about race.
There has been many personal trips by this president and his family before this night on the town.
Acturally, the Obamas took a little helicopter trip to Camp David about 20 days after the election, and then Airforce One to Chicago later in Feb., . That in about the first 30 days of taking office. No big deal, except it makes him no different that any other president - Bush, Clinton, Carter.
What is upsetting to people is the cost of the date, when he is telling us how we have to tighten our belts, volunteer more, don't expect to make money, etc. etc. etc. Yes, he is the president, however who better to set an example, any example. There are plenty of wonderful places in Washtington DC where they could have dined and great places of entertainment. DC is accustomed to catering to the President. No one is begrudging their date, they are questioning the cost.”

John McCain: Jackson Browne Used Me
Commented Nov 22, 2008 at 11:56:19 in Entertainment
“Let me help you understand. When an advertisement is made, say on TV or radio, and a specific song is played, the company must obtain permission from the artist to use/play the song. The artist may or may not like the product that is being advertised, ect, therefore can decline to allow his/her song to be used. Basically, McCain was trying to sell himself to the Americans. Same thing. Even large companies that play music in their offices must pay money and subscribe to play the music. McCain was trying to use Browne's song as his "brand" and the artist has every right to object. Make sense?”

“Well, she's literally on Fix News as we speak first off claiming that the stylists and makeup artists and such were all hired before she came on board, the clothes were all bought by someone else before then, too, she didn't buy any of them, she didn't even see a good amount of them, they were in the belly of the plane unused, but she's sure it couldn't possibly have been $150,000 worth, even though she supposedly didn't buy them, and didn't see some of them either.
Oh, and the clothes and such were again likened to lighting and such, and they had to outfit EIGHT members total of her family, not just her. Excuse me, how many? You, your husband, five kids and the purported fiancee, I'm assuming. Lemme see. That includes the son who is currently serving in Iraq, did he really need clothes? And Trig, the infant, did he really need new clothes to show up for the convention? They had to dress the ne'er do well boyfriend as well? And you're claiming that the wardrobe was provided to you by the campaign, but John and Cindy apparently paid for their own duds? Incidentally, she also wondered aloud whether the Democrats were being asked the same question about their duds, and who paid for them.
Change the subject all you like, but they aren't being asked because THEY DIDN'T DO WHAT YOU DID.”
