“I feel like the majority of haters haven't even listened to the albums of these talented artists. Sure, T Swift kind of dilutes the talent, but the albums by fun., Frank Ocean, and the Black Keys are quality music - definitely different from anything in the past. They have a deeper and original sound that makes them worthy to be nominated. I would suggest to listen to the whole albums instead of just basing your opinion on the overplayed singles that the radio bashes us with.”
“Can we make another group, I Stand by Papa Johns Employees?”

“If Papa John had started an add campaign saying:
Our employees are our family. We are going to stand by them, and provide them with health-care. The cost of each pizza will go up $0.25. I hope you as our customer understand, and help us to help our employees.
Then, I would have become a loyal Papa John's customer. And Papa John could have pocketed $0.11 of the increase, because the healthcare only costs $0.14 per pizza.
But Papa John is the typical American business leader - heartless and greedy.”
“Well, many of them are generally liberal, which means that they would be ok being taxed more for the common good.”

“It's not Brangelina you have to worry about. Why are people so extreme when discussing issues? All people ever talk about is the uber rich or the pitifully poor. Your neighbors that make slightly over $250,000.00 are the ones you have to worry about. They will look at their lives and make a personal family decision that the sunshine and a beach are not worth getting fleeced.”

“br101: The sad part of the tax increase is that most of it will go to keeping teachers' pay high....”

“br101, that was very funny. No, they will move out of California. When one is rich, moving from state to state is easy.”
“Hopefully this is a trend that will continue. Our parties cannot condone the fringe elements any longer. We all need to come together in the middle and denounce the extremism, and work together to get things done.”
“On reddit the other day we found that Portman's page had been edited quite frequently, most significant of all were the edits that removed the "controversies" section, as well as other unfavorable facts about him. It seems like the GOP does not want the American people to know the full story behind its candidates.”
“You must know that the constitution prohibits the government from making laws that respect any established religion. Since being gay is seen as a normal variety of sexuality by all of the major scientific secular organizations, and it is only treated as a perversion in religion, you cannot make your argument as it pertains to civil law.
Numerous well put together studies also show that a gay couple heading a family are no more likely to be hindering to children than straight couples heading a family.
As for intimidation and prohibition of businesses, its has been going on for a long time. Cities actively put restrictions on strip clubs, prostitution, and other business practices that the majority of the community agree should be put in place in certain locations. It is definitely not illegal.”
“"You can't take away something that's never existed in the first place."
Blacks and women never had the right to own property or vote, or in your words their rights "never existed in the first place." But those rights were given to them in the name of equal rights for all.
However, I should rephrase my first comment to include "actively trying to prevent equal rights." And there are religious right groups actively trying every day to take away already state granted rights for gays to marry, adopt, etc.
Get out of your bubble and do some research.”

“Right and Whites, in America never had the 'right' not to be overtaxed by the crown.
I'm in no bubble than you can define and two of us can burst together. Being gay is NOT a civil right. It is a sexual perversion. Let's talk like adults.
Perhaps you're unaware of the black ministers who have deftly characterized the president as Judas for selling out civil right's cause to gay marriage crowd?
What was actively engaged in, so you dis-remember recent history, is the intimidation and prohibition of a legitimate business from operating due to the political viewpoints of the owners.
That's illegal, anti-American behavior on the part of Boston D.C. Chicago and San Fransicko's mayors. The intolerance of gays and their enablers in the lib bastions above is what brought about Appreciation Day.
Blacks live all over the globe. Women too. You're the bubble-confined one, sir.”
“Apples to oranges. This club is not "gay only" it just fills the void in which tons of clubs that cater to heterosexuals only are creating. No one is banning straight people from this club, it just is creating a friendly environment for gay folks.”
