“FOX news is to our youth what Muslim Clerics are to young radical terrorists of ISLAM. They are teaching hate.
This is basically the same approach taken by Hitler.
FOX news needs to be outlawed immediately.”

“The Economy will help get Barack elected president and the economic recovery will assure the people of America and their selection of him for president. The USA will and has always bounced back from hard times. With proper guidance and regulations, we will eventually be economically stronger. Come election time in 2012, Obamie will be considered BATMAN.”

“This was the most horrific acceptance speech I have heard in the last 45 yrs. If any Independents or fence sitters are inclined to now vote republican, it would be because of some infatuation with Sarah Palin and not McCain. Putting in mildly, they would be hoping for McCain to be incapacitated in some way so Sarah can take the helm. As ridiculous as this would be, I can think of no other reason.

The McAint & McMoose ticket is the biggest joke presented to the America people since Perot/Eagleburger.”

“As a combat Marine (1965-69) involved in the TET Offensive 1968, Khe Sahn, Hue and Phu Bai, I wouldn/t support McCain under no circumstances. The only people that support war are the armchair warriors who were never involved. I have no doubt that these stats are true and understand completely why our overseas military would be for OBAMA in the upcoming elections....For those that still support this foolishness, please run down to your recruiter and show your true colors. They take just about anyone during these trying times. It matters not if you may have a criminal record, drug record or whatever. If they put a mirror under your nose and it smogs up, you are good to go. It's a lot of fun in the 100 degree temp., lugging around 80lbs on your back conducting house to house searches. And watch out for the boobie traps. ...Let us know how you make out.”

“Thanks very much for the comment, byrdlegs, and as the cliche goes, for your service to our country. My folks and I were talking about this last night and marveling over why a veteran like McCain would be so cavalier about war. Then my dad exclaimed, "well of course! He's a flyboy!" John McCain probably had a pretty good war until he got shot down.

Your point about the war supporters who seem to have "other priorities" is absolutely correct too. Max Blumenthal's expose of the Young Republican Chickenhawks was a devastating indictment.”

“Someone needs to pull their head out of their butt ! Do you think McCain was the only one served in Vietnam? He is no more a hero than anyone else that served. Just because your are a bad pilot and got shot down, doesn't qualify you for anything. Why doesn't McCain release all his military records like Kerry did? A think the 617 or so pages of his service would tell the real story, don't you? If McCain wants to make his service to the country one of his main assets in running for President and or using it against the lack of service by his opponent, then we need the entire story, not just the propoganda. If he is afraid of the results of such a release, then run on the issues. McCain is all over the place on taxcuts, treatment of prisoners, and other issues now to include off shore oil drilling. I think the "Straight Talk Express" needs a serious wheel alignment. He voted against the equal payment act for women cause they need more experience and training. He voted against the GI Bill cause it would result in too many troops leaving the service for an education, and he hasn't voted "yea" on any Veterans Health issues in the last 5 yrs. If you think Hillary's campaign did a horrif job in her bid for the primary election, those working for John McCasket are worse yet.”

“Yes but I don't believe that Kerry spent five years in a Viet-Cong prisoncamp being tortured everyday. Kerry probably hid everytime there was gunfire. Notice I said hid not ducked.”

“HIllary won the popular vote if you count all the imaginary votes that do not exist, just like she dodged the imaginary bullets in Bosnia. As soon as they CLINTONITES pull their heads from their asses, the will find OBAMA won the popular vote by around 2700....Too bad so sad!. Fade off into the sunset you idiots.”

“I just hope and pray Hillary doesn't cry during her concession speech whether it be Tuesday night or Wednesday. I will be laughing too hard to actually give a rat's ass. I was a Hillary supporter in the beginning, but with all the lies and fairy tales she muttered during her campaign and her pundits like ICKES, Goof Ball James Carville and the rest of that crew, its really great to be rid of them. The fresh start with Barak Obama is the only way to go if we have any chance of change in America. He (Obama) has my full support and I wish him well.”

“Hillary does have spunk and tremendous drive, but as stated by most posters, this is not leadership by any stretch of the imagination. When she had the opportunity to portray her qualifications for President, she overstated her involvments in the SCHIP Program, the peace accord with IRELAND and other important issues. She even chose to tell an out and out lie concerning her dodging bullets in Bosnia. What was that all about? This statement in itself leads to a much deeper psychiatric problem. She really sealed her fate with pandering and trying to buy votes via the GAS TAX holiday. By all accounts, this was the silliest thing I heard in a long time except for a BUSH speech. Telling the world she would OBLITERATE IRAN wasn't a very good idea also. Would you want this person answering any phone call at 3AM in the morning? Case closed !”
