The Senate needs to get right back to work on the bill with the STRONG Public Option and prepare to fight the fight that comes everytime from the legions of lobbyists and the massively powerful health industry's millions, not to mention those Senators who are bought and paid for by the health industries, (and we already know very well who they are)...... AND OBAMA NEEDS TO LEAD THEM ! ! !

If we'd left in '69, nothing, or very little, would be different now, today, then the way it is now, having stayed there until '75...
Except that 30,000 American soldiers would still be alive and billions of dollars in weapons and treasure would have been saved.
Staying in Afghanistan now will not make it any different for future times then if we stay. And don't give me that garbage about fighting them there so we don't fight them here. Banks still aren't lending hardly AT ALL to small businesses. Legislation? More lip service.
Health care's at the top of the pile. What does this dweeb do? It's what he doesn't do... He doesn't fight to keep insurance companies from retaining control on healthcare, which means, no real reform.”

“Especially when companies like GM were crying a year or so ago about how insurance costs were why their profits were hurting so badly... one would think they would love the idea of a single-payer system. It saves them costs, for-profit insurance companies (all 20+ of them) would finally get some competition to properly lower costs (if "the world is flat", how come the prices we pay for everything are so much higher than the prices for the same items, especially medications, across the world as Americans are flying overseas just to save a buck...)”
