Greece's Protests Over State TV Closure Threaten To Topple Government

“Sadly, you are so right, I have suffered first hand from the corrruption in Greece and how many people in very high places try, in my case to ignore the truth, the very people who are highly paid to protect its citizens. We are victims of fraud theft and BLACKMAIL in the hands of Emporiki bank. Now some TEN years later we are still trying to get our loses covered caused by the ILLEGAL ACTIONS of the banks staff. Into this mix comes solicitors, who at the very least are grossly negligent, journalists who tried to bring our case into the public arena, politicans, well, less said about them the better. In my experience when corruption is reported and ignored it speaks volumes about where the country is going, no matter how much money is poured into it. Dont get me wrong Greece is a beautiful country its people i.e. the man in the street, are kind thoughtful and helpful and it is those who are suffering because of the corruption that started, in my experience in 2004. Its SO SO WRONG to ask the man in the street to pay for the corruption and excessess of those whose job it was to protect the country and its people. Equally responsible are those who stood by and IGNORED the corruption not having the guts to speak out.”

“I feel  you man I mean that, as a man who enjoy's the history of productive mankind no ones put more on the intellectual table than the Greek we don't have to mention the players there are too many to type out here that's why it sadden me to see so much of man's history being destroy or neglected all over the world, but the Greek have a special place for me and it's too bad money and corruption, greed and the men who would see a country and a culture destroyed could do so and feel nothing. ”

“Greece would be much better served to deal with the massive corruption at all levels rather making ill thought decisions. The proof is there, in my case, they choose to ignore the truth, after all how can a country be run efficiently when fraud theft and blackmail is ignored by those whose position it is to stop such illegal actions.”
