“It isn't McDonalds fault.
McDonalds doesn't tell their employees to chose their non skilled low wage jobs as a career choice that is the employee who makes that choice. Then if that employee has children when they don't even make enough to care for themselves that too is not McDonalds fault that is the individuals fault.”
“No, not a chance on domestic (especially US domestic). I guess I should have clarified that. Indeed, my recent Dulles -> LAX flight didn't even offer any sort of snack, while my LAX -> MEL had three meals. That said, a recent AU Virgin flight of less than an hour actually served breakfast (and it was good too!). I guess it depends a bit on the country, a lot on the carrier, and most definitely on crossing an ocean. ;) That said, it doesn't bother me when someone reclines, so long as they don't mind that I have long legs and pointy knees.”
“You are fooling yourself if you think 'organically raised' somehow doesn't mean cafo.
Like the “free-range” label, the “organic” label does not guarantee that animals were treated any better than animals raised in conventional factory farms. An eyewitness revealed that on a so-called organic farm that advertised that its hens were raised in a “natural setting,” the birds were actually crammed “wall to wall—6,800 chickens with one rooster for every hundred hens. They never set foot outside.”
