“I am not surprised by this in the least. Expect to see some interesting financial juggling in China as well. Do a youtube search for empty buildings in China and watch what pops up, it is pretty interesting to see brand new cities being built that are empty. Dubai is an example of greed gone wild.”

“Being the only single sibling of six, I am the one always expected to travel the distance for family gatherings, which is fine for me since I love traveling.
We are known for our international flavor in the family as well. There are so many of us now. The next generation is coming up quickly behind us and exerting their independence. Should be loads of fun! All the younger generation are expected to make presentations to entertain the generation ahead of them. Should be loads of fun this year as the youngest have all been working in teams this year.”

“Yes the nickle and diming of the passengers has become the norm. Charging to check a bag, $18 each way! Unbelievable. I'm betting we will be seeing some pretty cut rate pricing for the new year as far as ticket pricing for travel this coming year.”

“We are able to celebrate at home as always, I used to have to travel as you do when I lived away from my mom...everybody comes to her home for Thanksgiving, many stay until Christmas, they don't all stay with us though, just a couple of Aunts and Uncles...Our family also has Irish, no Greeks that I know of, Germans, Spanish, African, Native American, Hispanic Americans, and the list goes on, they used to call our family the UN when I was in school. 0 ;-)”

I wish all of you (regardless of ideology, we are Americans first) a very happy Thanksgiving. Please remember to eat some salad and veggies with all that turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie!
Above all be safe and grateful for your families! Remember to keep good thoughts for those Americans in our Armed services who are far from their loved ones and be grateful that they are making this sacrifice regardless of where you stand on the wars!”

As for Lieberman, he has to be dealt with, he has become way too cocky and out of control. I would really like to see this guy defeated in his next election.”

Wall Street Journal Supports Break-Up Of Big Banks

“Sound fiscal policy is something most people can agree on regardless of ideology. Using taxpayer money to reward institutions that recklessly gambled away money merely sets a bad example for the future. Those banking institutions that maintained their fiduciary responsibility with sound business judgement are now expected to suffer at the expense of the monopolistic TBTF giants.”
