George W. Bush Institute To Co-Produce Public Television Show "Ideas In Action"

“With Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson, Katie Couric and Chris Matthews, all either bending over or on their knees for Obama, you complain about Fox news? Wow! The liberal press voted Obama into office and run interference for the progessive peoples party in each and every show. Refreshing to hear some positive news on George Bush.
Funny how the liberal press forgets that the democrats voted for the Iraq war, no child left behind and the prescription drug program, yet the liberals want to blame all on Bush. Such honesty and integrity in the peoples party. Well this economy, the war and the health plan all are owned by Obama and the progressives. We will see how that turns out for them. Whistle past the graveyard you guys.”

Barney is the same cut as Obama a good hearted Democrate but when it comes to actual legislation they compromise their tucas off to get something done that the banks, republicants, and corporate interests will allow.
He is far to pragmatic to be a liberal, and if you call the deregulation he supported over the past three decades, giving banks, corporate lobbyists, neocons and right wing loonies exactly what they wanted to take the dow from 776 to 10,000 then I need to buy you a dictionary.”

“Based on the comments from the Annointed One, the tarp program started by Bush worked and came in "under budget". The same cannot be said for Obama's "stimulas" program that produced or saved 10,000 jobs. The stimulas program did create jobs in unknown counties and paid Hillary Clinton's friends millions of dollars. Did I hear that unemployment went to 10% +, even thought the stimulas program was for "shovel ready jobs" and going to save the infrastructure? But I thought the stimulas would keep unemployment at no more than 8% based on what the Annointed One promised? What about that earmark bill for 800 billion after Obama promised "no earmarks". Gee, the Annointed One pormised change coming to Washington and we got Geithner and almost the lobbyist Daschle.
But hey, it rained today and it was Bush's fault. The Gator's lost last weekend and you know, that was Bush's fault too. Those nasty republicans.”

I stopped reading after the first line. You could call him Pres. Obama or the President but you apparently do not respect either Mr. Obama or the Office of President. So as an alternative, you could call him simply, " Obama". You are welcome to disagree with Obama all you wish, but basic manners in a public forum would bring more credit on to you as a person and your views. This is not an elementary school playground. Aetna Forcing 600,000-Plus To Lose Coverage In Effort To Raise Profits

“Great that means the public option and the government will be successful like "the stimulas bill" that created jobs and the post office that cannot break even. I'm sure the government will never raise their rates.”
oldngrumpy replied on Dec 05, 2009 at 12:18:12
“Medicare operates with a 2-3% overhead. That sure beats the 30+% of the insurance companies, much of which is spent denying legitimate claims. Costs may very well go up under a government plan, as they certainly will under the status quo. Higher costs will mean higher taxes, which can be directed to those most able to afford them instead of denying life saving care to those who can't. This is about a lot more than just reducing cost. This is a moral issue that may well define our society for the next few decades. I believe we are better than we are presently displaying to the world.”
Aquadog replied on Dec 05, 2009 at 02:44:05
“Take a look at the jobless numbers that were posted today before you make such an ig*norant statement. The stimulus is working - keep up. As for the post office breaking even, ever heard of e-mail? Somentimes things just outgrow their usefulness. Of course the government will raise rates when needed but they are not after large profits like the insurance companies.”
