“The NYPD, as well as other police departments, need more scrutiny from journalists, not less. In particular, the incompetent restraints that are often responsible for civilian deaths are not properly investigated. An NYPD officer was involved in a death in Staten Island that resulted in death after a struggle. Where are the investigations?”
“When you hear: "died in a struggle with police" it's almost always restraint asphyxia until proven otherwise. Citizens die from this unconstitutional form of death at a rate of almost two per month. Get educated. Demand better training. No officer should be conducting an arrest, which is a restraint, alone. End the drug war. No one should die because they lit up a joint in a bathroom.”
“Cop culture can be a killer. That said, cops do need a place to vent and sound off, especially given the large amount of violence that occurred during that weekend, some of it at the festival. This should be part of the human performance aspects of police work, sponsored by the leaders and run by outside supervisory agencies with mental health experience.”
“Actually, visibility doesn't do much. People witness abuse all the time, including mandated reporters, and do nothing about it. We need required, structured, meetings to probe for these types of activities. There are too many impediments to reporting: it must be an opt out system, not an opt in one.”
“Actually, there is a case of severe group abuse carried out by the Catholic Church that has not been covered and one could call it "Satanic" in nature. Religion was used to justify criminal behavior. Vulnerable children were involved with one being repeatedly kidnapped to a Church site for abuse.”
“I've been personally negatively affected by the Globe's coverage since the 1980's. They have failed to properly assess the medical establishment, including Harvard and the state and federally funded medical center where extreme violence against women and women patients occurred. Corruption and the people who secure large pensions are rarely well investigated. Three people have died due to police incompetence with no robust investigations. The police are poorly scrutinized in general, while being paid large salaries and pensions and abusing the populace. A longstanding criminal abuse case involving the Catholic Church has not been covered and in fact, despite the awards on this issue, many victims do not feel adequately represented by the paper.
The Globe, while producing some great journalism, has failed the Boston and Massachusetts community overall.”
“Adherence to the law and its judicial application is what keeps free societies functioning and safe. Shameful performance by a president who seems to have no limit to his sense of narcissistic entitlement.”
“Major allegations of workplace harassment and hostile work environment below which should also be fully investigated. He needs to RESIGN NOW. He was coddled for too long by the unethical democrats. They have a history of supporting misogynistic men with personality disorders who cause major damage to women's lives.
“And Spitzer? I'm disgusted at them all but I am primarily responding to workplace harassment and hostile environment issues which are directly related to his performance as a public servant. I'm tired of democratic support of violent misogynistic Jews who take advantage of their status to harm others. He needs to resign.”
“Weiner is getting everything that he deserves. He needs to resign now, especially in light of workplace harassment and hostile environment issues. This guy is personality disordered and has acted out too much already.
“Having an intact family with a lot of children is the best way to spread the memeplexes of religion. That's why the Pope is so concerned with not using condoms, having children without planning, avoiding abortion as much as possible, and maintaining a stable family unit where the young minds can be controlled and indoctrinated with the Catholic nonsense. The memeplexes of religion are "using" humans to get copied and propagated as much as possible. There is no concern for human suffering or acting ethically. Spreading the memeplex is all.
