How The Economic Impact Of The Oil Spill Is Spreading Beyond The Gulf (MAP, PARTICIPATE)

Commented Jul 15, 2010 at 10:12:47 in Business

“The Gulf of Mexico's impact on society can't be displayed thoroughly on a simple colored chart. From the Economic standpoint of this tragedy is that many seafood businesses have gone out of business because simply the US get's most of its best seafood in the Gulf. If you have visited and indulged in any type of seafood while there you will know that they produce some of the best crawfish, shrimp, ect. The oil slick "could" make it's way along the west coast of Florida down and around to the east coast. If any businesses or homeowners have been impacted on this tragedy and need any representation please visit www.spl-law.com/blog to read more upon what's happening.”

“The Judge is responding with some pretty ridiculous claims. Blaming the government is completely preposterous because he believes that the government knew what was happening and didn't stop it. He shouldn't have been let on the air and make such erroneous claims and statements.

On BP's Planet Locals are "Prospering" from the Oil Disaster

Commented Jun 23, 2010 at 16:31:11 in Green

“BP is putting a spin on the PR side of things and sweeten the media somehow. They do show some good characteristics. A lot of jobs are being lost and and a lot of money is being lost. Property damage is going to be outrageous. A big storm has a chance of coming through the Gulf of Mexico and picking up oil and bringing it onto land. Hopefully this oil leak stops soon and gets under control, so we can go about the clean-up situation. spl-law.com”

Oil Cap Removed: Oil Spill Now Gushing Unchecked

Commented Jun 23, 2010 at 15:26:31 in Green

“The devastation that occurred on April 20th in the Gulf of Mexico has had effect on a large amount of people. BP has acknowledged that it will set-up a “Gulf Coast Restoration Organization” to manage the clean-up and evaluation of the regions environmental damage. Also, BP has announced that it will have a $20 billion fund to pay claimants that have been affected by the disaster.

BP is finally taking action for the mess it has caused. The Oil giant plans to write checks and pay claims at a much quicker pace. BP’s plan is to make sure that they are not just there till the leak is stopped but for a long enough time to ensure the oil spill is completely cleaned up.

“Pardon if this isn't true, but this sounds like a missive from either the government, or BP”
