The cheap plans cost us working stiffs 15K/year (this plan does not cover diagnostics until you meet your 5K deductible). And I am paying taxes to "subsidize" the same astronomical premiums for those who cannot afford it. I don't begrudge helping those in need, but the premiums are getting to be exorbitant.
The system is broken. If you are on govt assistance, that must be rosy. But it is really difficult on the rest of the taxpayers. Recognize our hardships instead of smugly saying you are taken care of on the cheap by Medicaid, so why bother with those of us breaking our backs to support you?! Not asking for gratitude, just acknowledgment.”

“I am neither utopian, nor, am I delusional. We do not have to have a 2 party system. I believe that the interests of progressives and/or leftists are different than the DLC or "liberals," or Blue Dogs, or the "New Democrats." They are certainly different than those on the right. The two party system is broken ... it is a sham with the illusion of a democratic republic.
For me there is really no difference between Republicans and Democrats insofar as they are the flip side of the same coin --- not a different form of tender. They exist in response to one another ... as you wrote --- if I dissent I might get us a Republican president. I will dissent, it is my right to dissent ... and throwing up the fear of another Republican president doesn't cut it for me ... never did ... never will. We could get a Progressive president ... that is possible.
I worked hard for Obama but what has changed? Not a thing. Health Care? Closing Guantanmo? War? GLBT rights? Woman's rights? Habeaus Corpus? Financial reform? Not a thing .,... just lies, illusions,etc
We need to stop thinking in such a limited anachronistic fashion and look towards leaders who are committed to their role as representing the citizens of this nation, not the corporate interests ... that is nothing short of fascism (e.g. merger or corporate and state power) ...”

Sounds like quite a marketing strategy to me. Because up until I watched that ad (that they didn't have to pay for in order for all of us to see it), I had never heard of a Yaris. Now I have. Mission accomplished.”
