“I do. So I bought my daughter a trike that was red, yellow and blue. And the receipt told me I'd bought a "boy's bike"? Why? Why not just call it a primary color bike vs a pastel bike?
When I was a kid I had a (Marx) doll house that was painted to look like a real house. When my daughter was little everything was pink and purple. Even 20 years ago my nephews had a lot of fun playing with a Little Tikes doll house in realistic colors. Just a few years later LT went the pink route.
I had a toy kitchen with realistic looking appliances. My brother and I both played with them. Who in the world has a pink and purple kitchen? But that's what you get now days.”

“I think you just proved your own point. How obsessed by gender are you?”
Amber Buist on Jul 20, 2013 at 12:28:52
“I do. There at least needs to be the OPTION. there are plenty of kids who identify with neither or both sexes, and having to choose between one sexualized toy over another has gotta be frustrating... gender neutral doesn't hurt anybody. so I don't see why you're worried about it.”
“i suppose she makes a point. She was 15 and drinking.”

“Wow. So, she makes mistakes and deserves rape. She makes no point save that she blames the victim. We are her to care for each other, not take advantage of each other. The fact that she was 15 and drinking is all the more reason for young men to protect her from harm, not inflict it upon her.”
“so it's alright for black people to have black student unions, but once the white kid goes and does it, it turns in a hate group?”
rayano 86 on Mar 18, 2013 at 13:41:45
“No one made an issue about the black and white student unions.
1. Your missing an entire chapter in US history where minority student unions were established to serve the needs, and hear the voices of ethnic students who were kept out of such organizations by obscure bylaws. The same goes for television, movies, and print media, for years there were huge markets of minorities being underserved and represented. In response all-ethnic or multi-ethnic organizations and publications were created to give equal representations of these groups rather than how " white america" perceived or addressed these groups.
2. No one would even consider the White Student union racist if none of it's members came forward supporting slavery and segregation. His opinion is protected by free speech, it's the lack of condemnation from fellow members that raises the flag. Obviously they agree other wise there would have been an immediate negative reaction. This time the lable of racist is appropriate. No spin, or extra information needed. They showed us who they are and we believe them.”

“This group IS a hate group.”
MatthewMcIntyre1 on Mar 18, 2013 at 13:13:08
“Well good job not understanding the issue at all and making a false (bigoted) comparison.
Skin color has nothing to do with this "Student union" being called a hate group.”
traceymarie on Mar 18, 2013 at 13:10:48
“Blacks celebrate their culture and fight for full equality, this white group fights for slavery and inequality....there is a diffrence.”
SMH at You on Mar 18, 2013 at 13:09:15
“Typical assumption of white people. You should know black student unions are inclusive - anyone can join. White student unions are not. So yes, they are hate groups as you can see from Mr. Terry.”

“Nobody said it's wrong that they have the white student unions, it is what's being said that is wrong. Gosh read first next time will you?”
MrJames King on Mar 18, 2013 at 13:03:44
“I really want to break-down the difference, but I feel, in the end, you still would not get IT.”
