“I think Obama doesn`t want to be known as the pot president. This may be the opening salvo to start discussing it. He is sly that way. He knows it should be legalized but he wants Mom and Pop america to be with him. Maybe I am wrong.”

jditt replied on Mar 29, 2009 at 12:35:22

“I agree with you dakotaharp. He knows it will be legal. But he is also intelligent enough to know that the legalization and taxation is not the issue. It is the de-criminalization of marijuana, and re re-structuring of the "Justice" system that needs to be addressed, after trying to pick up the pieces that the Republican agenda has left this country in. I trust him. He is VERY INTELLIGENT! Much more so than them. You'll see. But he needs our help and support.”

You do have a point, Obama has a good pitching game, and has thrown more than a few curves I didn't see coming.”

I will get Bruce`s new one and add it to my collection. If it`s good I will play it and if it`s not I will still keep it. Reviewers think they matter...they don`t. Not to me anyway. I like rock n roll, blues and I love Adelle. I don`t hate anything....oh wait.....rap. I don`t get the whole thing about talking over prerecorded songs. “pahleaze people are going to be dancing in the streets and rightfully so after the last eight years, one stolen election, lifes lost in an occupation, jobs lost, homes lost. Not to mention all of the hard work to gain an Obama win from people losgin friendships, family, sore feet from canvassing, dry moths from calling, rallying, marching, speaking, arguing, etc....You'll be hard pressed to find someone not celebrating unless they are on the right. Heck there will be conservatives celebrating an Obama win.”

Connolly1916 replied on Oct 27, 2008 at 12:28:35

“I think it is possible to celebrate an electoral victory without taunting or belittling the other side. Respect their property. Don't yell insults at them if they have the opposition's bumper sticker or yard sign, it solves nothing and achieves nothing.

If you want to do a little happy dance and drink some champagne, though, I don't think there's anything wrong with that as long as it's among likeminded people.”
