“I'm with you here. Unless the pain is really excruciating I don't take anything. Things need to heal and pain is part of the healing process. Feel the pain helps you know that you are still alive.”

WildK replied on Nov 22, 2009 at 16:28:16

“Oh yes, of course. If I take ibuprofen to relieve the pain and swelling of a twisted ankle I do forget that I'm alive.”
Why Joe Biden Should Resign

“Though I don't agree with you, Arianna, because I feel that he does more being inside the WH than outside of it, I think you have a well-constructed view. Joe could show commitment to the country if he is truly against the war and wants the president to advocate getting out of Afghanistan. But I feel that the president will see that getting out of Afghanistan is the only option and he will not send people to be killed for something that is as fruitless as this stupid war. We will not get Osama this way! Nor will be help the Afghans establish a better government. We need to get the hell out!”

Thats What's Wrong with Black People

Commented Jun 11, 2009 at 18:58:10 in Media

“Bitter, bitter, bitter! I think they don't like that they are not invited to the WH and are not best friends with the President. This is so sad. Are they jealous?”

BuzzingAlong replied on Jun 13, 2009 at 21:08:26

“Yes, they are jealous. But they also suffer from a peculiar characteristic that is only found among black people.

When someone from another race succeeds, then they all celebrate that success not matter whether they all agree or disagree with tht persons politics, religions, thoughts, whatever.

But with black people, whenever one blqck person achieves, there are many many other black people waiting in the wings to try to bring him/her down.

Don't know if this is cultural or genetic, or what.”

“I just want to say that I am so glad that Robert has chimed in here. I think this "tax revolt' stuff is b----s----! They are saying Fascist because they can't say racist!!! I think this is double and code speaking on steroids! The more press and air time these crazy people get, the more REAL this stuff becomes even though it is based on nothing! Where were these idiots when Bush was bankrupting the country??? I am so glad that Reich is saying it like it is and really addressing the each issue which has not been covered in media. Just the pictures have been aired not the people answering this lunatic fringe. I notice how many rich people are attending these things!!!!! NONE!!!!!!”

RobMarais replied on Apr 16, 2009 at 18:51:31

“Just as I've come to admire from Reich, a brief but cogent work of common sense. Seems that many of the Tea-Bagger ilk are afflicted with two ills: an inability to "do the math", and a lack of any real, undistorted sense of civic duty. Reich is a short citizen who stands very tall in my eyes.
Actually I had thought that "teabagging" meant something else, which is usually done in privacy between consenting adults.”

“Though I try to hold out hope I think newspaper are D E A D!!!”

hp blogger Sara Catania replied on Mar 12, 2009 at 23:10:25

“You are probably right: newspapers ARE dead.

The key distinction to make is between newspapers and journalism.

Newspapers are simply a delivery system, like LPs or CDs. Vinyl discs exist now as a boutique item, and compact discs are on their way out. The music industry is in turmoil, but the music hasn't died.

In the same way, journalism will always be with us.

The difference is that good journalism performs a crucial muckraking role. The question is whether it will be able to sustain this role. It cannot without substantial funding and institutional support.”

Rove has operated very "successfully" behind the scenes for years, even if his success has resulted in the marginalisation of the Republican Party and the diminishing of the USA. It will be interesting to see how successful he is when his machiavellian ways are exposed to the light of day.”

“You liberals are all emotional tools. I log on here to try to see the "other side" and am constantly amazed at the reality distortion field you Godless folks put up. I read the first few paragraphs of this idiots article and all he does is make weight jokes and fat insults?! That's the intellectual dialogue I look for here. Wow, are you peace nicks angry people. Rush is an entertainer AND an educated conservative. He is fun to listen too. Liberals are so serious they never can seem to enjoy life. So
a guy like Rush, a self made man, a man with flaws, a NORMAL man, who, whether you like him or not has achieved levels of success any one of us would envy, is the one who gets the jokes. His substance, which is powerful, is ignored because liberals can rarely if ever refute his points.
Im literally afraid of what Obama is doing to my country. Bush is bad because he spends too much money liberals say, then Obama spends 4 TIMES AS MUCH and its GOOD.
