“I'm always astonished by the number of self-professed Christians who haven't even thoroughly and in its entirety read the document that underlies their faith. How can one state that a many times translated book is the literal Word of God and then subsequently haven't even gone to the trouble of reading that Word in its entirety, chapter and verse?”

Of course the people on C Street think that the rules don't apply to them. They literally believe that they were chosen to do God's work, and that normal rules only apply to the "little people."

Which typically means antigay and antiabortion legislation. It's chilling, and you realize the wisdom of the founders when they saw the need to separate church and state.”
