“Im so puzzle by this case, I im happy for the father but at the same time the kid is attach to the Brazilian family, he had little contact with his real father all this yrs I believe it would be traumatic for him to leave behind friends, family, and the land where his mom is burried.”

“From my point of view, the child is a victim of outright kidnapping. He may have bonded to these people, but the damage that allowing these people to keep the fruits of such a horrific crime is incalculable. Children get kidnapped all the time in this world. Many (most?) are by a parent who does not have legal custody.

To allow this to stand is to invite every parent who doesn't have the custody arrangement that they want to just take custody by force. A civil society cannot possibly allow that.”
