Poll: 64 Percent Of Republicans Want Palin To Run In 2012

Poll: 64 Percent Of Republicans Want Palin To Run In 2012

Commented Nov 8, 2008 at 18:22:03 in Politics

“Her playbook is this:

1. Snuggle up to men in power.
2. Snuggle up to men in power.
3. Snuggle up to men in power.

Watch and see. Next, she will start wearing contact lenses, low cut blouses, and fish net stockings.

Why does her lack of substance not bother you at all? If you had confidence, you would not be trying to convince us that she was the cat's meow. She is more like something that the cat dragged in.”

“Gameon,

Yes, I wonder why so many in your party think Palin could be president.

Yes, I wonder why you post here, when you know this is where Obama's supporters post. This is not the place for the Palin fan club.

We'll be fine. It is you that you need to pray for.”

“You just assume I'm a republican because I don not fall head over heels in love with Obama. There are reasons not to care for the man's politics you know. Well sorry to spoil your little Obamapajama party but I'm a Democrat. As far as a Palin fan, I can think of others who are much better than she is but I don't trash her like you people who seem to get the much needed pleasure that you feel you need. No I don't think you will be fine. The election is over and you can't seem to put it behind you. You can't seem to stop your hateful remarks. When Obama fails, I'll be the first to say I told you so. If he succeeds, I will be the first to say I was wrong.”

“No brain, coke-snoring state senator 4 years ago, huh? Obama was smart alot longer ago than 4 years, politicofree4all.

Now everyone that criticizes Palin is sexist? Does that mean that everyone who supports her is smart?

I will be one of many ready to take her down when she rears her head in 2012.

Rest assured of that.”

A Letter for McCain Supporters' Eyes Only

Commented Nov 3, 2008 at 19:10:53 in Politics

“What did anyone do to Bush? It was those of you who were blinded by the smoke screen of George Bush that should have reason to question your judgment. Liberal is not a dirty word, nor is conservative, but I have seen the most despicable things come out of the camp that represents the right.

As far as McCain goes, which McCain are you talking about? What have you heard him say in "his own words"? Was is the part about the tax breaks and cuts for corporations and the wealthy?

Who cares if you support Obama? Did you care that we despise George Bush?”

whitegoldwielder on Nov 3, 2008 at 19:51:44

“"What did anyone do to Bush?"

Question is what did he do for you?

You have been safe in you bed for the years after 911 and the economy was clicking right along until the greed and corruption got the best of everyone, democrats included. Your hands aren't clean. Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and other democrats had their hand in the cookie jar too. At least don't delude yourself.

Bush got rid of Saddam. On balance, a good thing. In the end he had his failures like Carter, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, Kennedy, Johnson and even Franklin Roosevelt.

The democratic hand wringing and rose colored glasses is just too much for the stomach to bear. And now you want to elect an empty suit to run the country. A sad day.”

“As I stated on another post, Republican VIPs met Palin in January 2008. She must have known that they had interest in her political future because she put herself out there.

Why did she not spend the next few months studying domestic and international policy just in case she got the call?”

You're just mad, because despite your perception of our "faults", we were not stupid enough to vote for George Bush (twice). Nor, would we make "Joe the Plumber" a star, who now has a publicist, is going to write a book and is looking for a record deal. I am sure that you will be the first in line seeking his autograph.

Good luck to you too.”

Did you read the part about McCain supporting this guy's organization, or was it lost on you? What were "you' thinking when you elected Bush? Prosperity for America, or prosperity for "you"?

If Sen. Obama's name was Fred Jones, all of this stuff would not matter and his patriotism would not be questioned.

What this election has done is place bigotry front and center. Are you in denial about that also?”

What did the heck did anyone know about George W. Bush except that he was George H. Bush's son? Who had ever heard of Bill Clinton before he ran in the primaries? What about Jimmy Carter, who came out of nowhere to be elected president.

Now, we have to know every thought that is in Sen. Obama's head or what his personal beliefs are.

If you now say he is an unknown, than you just don't want to know. The information is out there.

McCain's past is not so illustrious or haven't you read the story by Rolling Stone magazine? If his past is such an open book, he needs to open up those medical records.

Notice something here? Sen. Obama is the only non-white candidate.”

People cut off their noses to spite their faces all the time in this country. Well, if McCain/Palin get in the White House, your friends will have plenty of company in the soup lines. Wait a minute, feeding the homeless and hungry is socialistic. I don't think McCain will go for that, do you?”

If you are treated the same way as you are now, you will be pleasantly surprised. But if you are not, say nothing.

Obama has been called everything under the sun, including a traitor to his country. There is no proof of any of it and you think he gets a reprieve for everything?

Who cares if you vote for Obama? We are trying to get past this twisted, bigoted election and move forward.”

“Bkbigfish,

Which party was raising the spectre of gay marriage, abortion anytime, affirmative action, gun control, and identity politics? Methinks, it is the Republican party because these issues were always their hold card. Now, people are more concerned about keeping a roof over their heads and feeding their families then they are about anything else.

While you are at it, why don't you tell us how many people you know who got their jobs through affirmative action. Why do you care if gay people get married? Abortion anytime? Can you have a baby? NO. Then, who cares what you think?

As the dynamics of this country change, white men will lose more and more of their power to control this country. That is one of the reasons why some of them will always vote for people who look like them.”

Top McCain Aides: 'Palin Simply Knew Nothing About National And International Issues'

Commented Oct 29, 2008 at 09:08:01 in Politics

“Palin started lobbying for herself when several GOP V.I.Ps went to Alaska in January 2008. That is how they found out about her.

So, that means that she had 7 months to study and learn all that she could about national and international issues, just in case she got the nod. They call that being prepared. She did nothing. This is what she would have to be if she were the vice president. I don't know what is worse, not being prepared or lying about being prepared.

Every time she opens her mouth and acts likes she knows what is going on, I cringe and shake my head because so many of her followers want the Republicans to stay in power so bad, that they have convinced themselves that she is fit.

It is willingness to believe anything and everything that got us into the situation that our country is in now.”

LisaLisa1234 on Oct 29, 2008 at 09:13:20

“I can understand why she didn't take the time to learn--she had a newborn. After my 3rd child was born, I was practically useless for awhile. The first two are one thing...after 2 it's a whole new ball game.

What I can't believe is that given that situation, she "didn't blink" and thought she had to jump at this chance now, as if she wouldn't have another down the line.

Ambition can surely blind.”

There is a video that the LA Times won't release of Sen. Obama? Now, tell us about the plot the that the LA Times and Sen. Obama have to steal this election.

Why don't you mention all the things the Republican party is doing to dissuade black voters and college students like: 1. Telling college students they will be arrested at the polls if they have outstanding parking tickets. 2. Distributing flyers in Virginia that tell Democratic voters to vote on November 5.

No matter who wins this election, the Republican dirty tricks will sicken this country for the next generation. So, you need to get real.”

I don't agree with your FACT: There are more jobs than people willing to take them? Obviously, you are employed and have not been out there looking. You think that all these positions on the Internet are real? You think that all these newspaper and radio-tv advertisements offering jobs don't have hundreds of applicants for each posting? What happens to the people who aren't lucky enough to get one of those jobs? They are unemployed or underemployed.”
