House Democrats Arrested In Immigration Reform Protest

House Democrats Arrested In Immigration Reform Protest

“Fair is FAIR, We cannot afford them. Wait like everyone else did. Just because you want to move to another Country does not me they will accept you now. You don't just sneak across the border or over stay a visa. Try that in most any county in the world. If your not shot you will be in prison. Look what they do on their Southern Border

“I went to your link at CNN and it has absolutely no information about Mexican immigration policy.  It is as though the author has no idea Mexico passed immigration reform in 2011.  There are no punishments anymore, only fines.  It is quite a civilized system.”

compx2 on Oct 13, 2013 at 18:27:33

“There is not a single country in the world that will shoot you or put you in prison for an immigration violation, except the USA. The worst that can happen in Mexico is abaout $500 fine and an escort to the border.”

“Maybe they should of been working on passing a budget instead of hanging out with law breakers. Immigration is a privlage. It is not a right. You don't get it by breaking the law and sneaking into this country. Wait inline like everyone else”

compx2 on Oct 13, 2013 at 15:36:16

“Wow, how many misconceptions can one fit into three sentences. Democrats can't work out a hijacked House, and they did not miss a vote. Immigration is moving to a new country, not a right or priveledge. Nearly half of those without visas did not break any laws, and if they could have entered legally they surely would have, that is the problem. Fixing the problem is Immigration Reform and the Democrats see that, and you don't.”

Washington Navy Yard Shooting: 13 People Confirmed Dead, Including Shooter (LIVE UPDATES)

“The Washington Navy Yard incident - yet another example of the utter foolishness of "gun free" zones. Not one, apparently, of the good citizens and warriors working in the Yard were armed in their own defense, other than hired security personnel.”

oink2u2 on Sep 16, 2013 at 15:04:52

“You, of course, ignore the distinct possibility the weapon was legally purchased elsewhere - where there are no 'gun controls' - and brought into a gun-free zone. You also ignore that virtually all government installations are "gun free" zones.

We need to registered people, since they do the killing, not the guns.

You also ignore the reality that most civilians shooters - and many cops - aren't very good pistol shots when under pressure, in low light and/or with a person actually shooting back. That John McClane fantasy of being the savior with a handgun is just that: a fantasy. It's more likely the 'rescuer' will miss and/or hit bystanders than save the day. That's if they can even draw their weapon when they've lost their fine motor skills, have tunnel vision and are shaking like a leaf ...

It's also likely the rescuer will be shot by friendly fire of police and security, seeing an armed civilian in an active shooter scenario.”

“Gun Free? they were Government guns everywhere. That happened on base not in the community. Get your facts straight.”

IHateDumbPeople on Sep 16, 2013 at 14:59:51

“How about those MP's who were armed and highly trained? That's more than the average office environment. So if they can't keep a military installation safe, what do you expect the average office environment with average citizens to do?”

Unreadable on Sep 16, 2013 at 14:57:04

“What do you think is the use of everyone being armed in a crowd of people. It's more likely to increase fatalities as everyone would start shooting. Of course, the shooters would be more likely to be shot, but that "collateral damage" we hear so often about would go through the roof.”

“Clinton turned all of our Military Bases into gun free zones, thus relying on local Police, this foolishness has once again cost people their lives.”

“You really think helping these rebels will make things better? They whole region hates the United States. How many times have we armed people like this and they tried to kill us later. As far as the republicans if I remember right Bin Laden was a terrorist when Clinton was in office and he had a chance to kill him back then but dropped the ball. Should have dealt with things in the 1st Gulf War but stopped short there too. Politics again. Made progress in Afghanistan but let politics get in the way again. Iraq was all about politics and should of took better control of the Country. Can't force any of these people to be civilized. They have been acting like animals and killing each other for 100's of years. Need to just walk away and protect our own borders. Need to spend the money making our own Country great again.”

“Don't want to hear anymore BS. Secure the borders then we will talk. A secure border is when nothing 100% can get in without be allowed. We will accept nothing else. Here is an idea. Lets guard the White House and all other government buildings the way we guard our borders. If 1 guard every 20-50 miles is good enough for the border it is good enough for the government. Solve border security and the other problems will fall into place. Drugs, Gangs, Human Trafficking and many more start at the borders. American people are tired of being lied too. This problem should have been taken care of many years ago. If one person can get into the country illegally that is 1 to many. For all of our safety and security, do your Damn Jobs!”
