“Good question. How many children were killed on 9/11? If the downed plane were going for Bush, many children would have been killed at the school.”

Enroh Mot on Jun 3, 2012 at 08:50:58

“Not many children killed on 9/11, the real question is how many children is the US going to kill in retaliation, its been going on for years now.”

“Seems to me this JOBS Act BS falls right in line with policies of the "Shock Doctrine." The ONLY reason I would vote for Obama again is his supposed stance on gay rights, and I can't think of another. WTF? He has shown himself to be an elitist, who thinks the USA is some icon--when we treat other countries like crap. I saw his little campaign video about things having changed--well not enough, and not really. What a disappointment--he is as corrupted as the Reps. BOYCOTT THE 2012 ELECTION”

“I bought an American car that should have had anti-lock brakes and ended up in a ditch. Then I bought a used Saturn Vue that cost me thousands and thousands of dollars in repairs. It ended up stranding me at night on a rural highway when the serpentine belt pulley broke and the serpentine belt wrapped around the timing belt in this "zero tolerance" engine. Catastrophic engine failure. Sold it for $700 to a junkyard. I own a Honda now.”

Health Care: Give the People What They Want

Commented Jun 21, 2012 at 10:58:05 in Politics

“In my case, the hospital stays were sometimes detrimental. However, at least I didn't have to foot the entire collection of bills. I am grateful to receive Medicare, but I must pay out of pocket for dental care. Does Medicaid still cover dental, vision? My glasses cost a small fortune. My credit rating is the least of my concerns. Wait in line, bill collectors!”

Health Care: Give the People What They Want

“Some get more than $600. I am only allowed to earn $1000 per month in addition to SSDI. I do NOT qualify for food aid. I well NEVER own a home, nor a new car. SSI allows someone to live independently. My bills just about kill me.”

Health Care: Give the People What They Want

Commented Jun 21, 2012 at 07:41:35 in Politics

“I have Medicare because I receive SSDI. Splendid? My hospital bills have destroyed my credit rating. Medicare is partial coverage. And hospital bills go to collections. I wish I had Medicaid like SSI recipients.”

jmpurser on Jun 21, 2012 at 10:31:20

“I'm on Medicare via SSDI and it pays for nearly everything so far.  Medicare didn't kill your credit rating.  It kept you alive.  What killed your credit rating is the American Market Driven Health Care System.”

missprissanna on Jun 21, 2012 at 09:17:05

“Medicaid is almost worthless. I have a friend who's been ill repeatedly for the last three years, works a minimum wage job with no health insurance. Her only option when she gets really sick is the ER, they can and do order any number of expensive MRI's, CT scans, colonoscopys, blood work...any test that can be preformed at the hospital, schedule these test within a few days....bill medicaid, get paid...they're done. Every ER visit results in the same "care"...none, there's no care, there's tests, billing and the cycle begins again.... There is no follow up, no diagnosis, no help to find the problem....it's a money machine for hospitals and the corps who own these money making machines and testing facilities. People don't matter anymore.”

MeinNH on Jun 21, 2012 at 09:11:00

“SSDI recipients get Medicare....Medicaid is only for people (single) who get less than $600 per month to live on.”
