How Happy Is... Losing A Baby

“I am so sorry for your loss.
I too have had that experience and know the sorrow is lifelong, especially when people make comments like, "well, at least you still have the other one." My baby died just hours from being born and I felt it the instant his heart stopped beating inside me...have never forgotten it. His twin is now 40 years old and doing very well. I often wonder if he has subconscious memories of his lost brother.
The baby's death was caused by toxemia of pregnancy.”

That's okay, we middle-class schmucks don't have anything better to do with our lives than to be jerked around by a bunch of arrogant twits whose main goal in life is to get themselves poised for looking good enough for re-election.
I'm pretty sure it'll be a cold day in hell before I vote for any Democrat again, and since I would never vote for a NEOcon (the only brand of republican left), hopefully Thomas Jefferson will be returning to set things straight and maybe fill us in on what some of those amendments actually mean.”

“The seal hunt no longer targets the youngest whitecoats. Canada allows the seal hunt not just for 'seal coats,' but because the number of seals is too great, throwing off the balance of an ecosystem already thrown out of whack by international fishers including. .. wait for it... Americans, and because seals have few natural predators remaining due to the actions of shippers and fishers from around the world including. .. wait for it... America. Without a seal hunt, the end result would be the same: Lots of dead seals. Except they would die under the far more inhumane circumstances associated with overpopulation, like starvation and disease, and would take other populations with them.
All of which is beside the point that if you ever sneak onto the kill floor of a meat plant to watch cattle, pigs, and chickens being butchered, you'll see a very pretty mess. And if you believe the transparency associated with spilling blood on a snowy ice flow with protestors and photographers around leads to more abuse and needless cruelty than that which occurs between the cold concrete walls of a slaughterhouse closed off to visitors and cameras and custom built with drainage gutters designed to carry the blood away, then you my friend are very naive.

Hell, look at the dangerous drugs they've already released in this country and the foot dragging that went on way past the point those drugs should have been pulled. Do they really think the Canadians are buying unsafe drugs for their people from the exact same manufacturers that we get the exact same drugs from at ten times the cost? BULL!
