“Josh Sparkman, you are not alone in your sorrow and admiration for your father. So many of us have been touched by his simple and honorable life story and we grieve with you. The right thing you can do is find someone to be with over the coming days. Find different people and be with them in shifts until you feel stronger. This is a monumental loss and you are in general human need. If you can't think of someone, call your local United Way or Yellow Pages help line. People understand. You don't have to carry this alone, no one is alone in times like this.”
