I presume he was there on vacation, and as such, are you of the mindset that one should have a bad time, while on vacation.

of course, if he were on a business trip, and was "having a good time" att he expense of getting work done for his employer, that would be different.

I do not know the details of his trip, but if it was a personal vacation, then shouldn't he have been supposed to be having fun?

i am just curious, where you complaint about him having fun being a problem came from.
