“Robert, this is who you were replaced by:
My mother was the one who advised Linda Tripp to record her conversations with Monica Lewinsky and to save the dress. I was privy to some of that stuff, and when the administration set about to destroy Lewinsky, Tripp, and my mom, I defended my mom and by extension Tripp...I have zero desire to have those arguments again. I did my bit in the trenches of Clinton's trousers.[8]
These tapes became the focal point of the Lewinsky scandal. Goldberg was privy to the tapes and the conversations his mother had with Tripp because he served as a vice president of his mother's now-defunct literary agency. When the scandal broke, Goldberg defended his mother and Tripp during the ensuing media firestorm.
Aside from being a member of the USA Today Board of Contributors, he has written for The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Commentary, The Public Interest, The Wilson Quarterly, The Weekly Standard, the New York Post, The Women’s Quarterly, and Slate. The Los Angeles Times added Goldberg to its editorial lineup in 2005.
His book Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning (ISBN 0-385-51184-1) was published in January 2008. It reached #1 on the New York Times Best Seller list.”

“Axelrod -- or "Ax" as Plouffe refers to him throughout the book -- summed up at the beginning of the campaign the core elements of the message that would guide them: "change versus a broken status quo; people versus the special interests; a politics that would lift people and the country up; and a president who would not forget the middle class."

“"Medications designed for animals, not humans." Unfortunately for humans some of these vaccines have been manufactured with human genes. Horizontal transfer takes place and cross species barriers causing more illness. There is not a single mention to the technology we are feeding the animals we consume. More genetic sludge for the microbial world of evolving mutations. I know this wont get posted but unless we start analyzing biotechnology through independent science this article is a loss of words.”

“dear ewj1, This is not an assumption, it is the history of culinary evolution. Why are you intent on disproving what science and medical studies have made clear. I haven't written a book and certainly am not claiming authority or expertise. I will however assume that most of those countries in the bottom 20% have limited resources, clean water, and little to no nutritional variety. No that's not an assumption either it is a fact. I'm not here to debate you and I understand how change, especially in ones diet is uncomfortable. Just try it for one day a week, where as our grandparents and parents used it for 6.”

“I can't afford not to choose. Have you ever heard of complex carbohydrates. It is practiced world wide. In Latin America beans and rice, in Asia soy and rice, in the mid-east beans and rice, during the depression in the US, you guessed it beans and rice. Sunday being a special day when a chicken made the day a special occasion. These are the octogenarians of our day. The delicious and diverse preparations make them the best part of the meal. Changing your diet in order to afford meat may just mean limiting the amount of meat you consume along with other protein enhancing sides, Chinese cooking is an excellent example of how smaller portions of meat can be consumed along with vegetables for a very satisfying meal.”
ewj1 replied on Oct 28, 2009 at 15:58:18
“Lets use your assumption. Look at parts of the world that use average to above meat and parts that use less meat. Do your own review. Countries that use higher portions of meat have a longer life expectancy than countries in the bottom 20% of meat eaters. Very little of what I stated has any thing to do with what Weil stated. I just wanted to state some facts that disprove your assumptions.
BTW, China uses lots of meat. Infact they are the largest consumers of beef and chicken in the world. On a per capital basis Argentina consumes the most meat.
Wheat, rice & maize are most consumed food. In fact we over consumed on those as much as we do on beef and do not eat enough raw unprocessed fruit.”
