Maybe we should all remember that Al Gore was one the biggest pimps for NAFTA in the 90's. How's that working out for your jobs and economy?”

“Climate change deniers?

Have you at all been keeping up at all with this climategate story? Probably not if most of your newswatching is devoted to mainstream American media.

The CRU, which gathers info used by the IPCC was caught trying to talk scientists to fudge their numbers and manipulate their data--you know, stuff they claimed that the deniers were doing.

The BBC sat on this story for a month when finally a whistleblower blew their cover. Begley is the one being caustic and reactionary.

The only real denial here is the one about the real facts and how all the climate change stats now are suspect because of fact manipulation.

Didn't we learn anything from WMD-gate seven years ago?”

“All these overspent institutions need their students to straight refuse to pay to sit out. How much $ is being blown every weekend by corporate sponsors during college football games? Their entire Bowl system is built around their corporate sponsors and donors. These overrated institutions deserve to crumble and start from scratch while their students get a free education downloading podcasts off iTunes university and save that $100,000.

http://www.streetinsider.com/General+News/Ron+Pauls+Amendment+To+Audit+The+Federal+Reserve+Approved/5128440.html

Without a doubt this is probably the single most important piece of legislation in the House. No, it doesn't create many jobs, save for the auditors, but its implications will attack the very institution that robbed the people blind.”

“Did Paul slip in his anti-abortion amendment yet? You better watch what is in that bill. Because not only does Ron Paul not want to audit the fed, he's merely trying to hijack another issue away from the Dems in order to ramrod one of his personal pet issues through with it. Which is probably the abolition of states rights too, as he is very much against that.”

“This story is very fishy and a crap piece of journalism. I am surprised at NPR and HuffPo. Someone is using a tiny bit of info about a career which expanded years to design a scenario which I believe is BS. In the case of workplace bullying evaluations which say the person is lazy or incompetent are the norm and research shows the opposite is usually true. That is the main reason for the bullying. This tells me Hasan was probably intelligent, informational, nerdy, and it pissed off his supervisors. There may also be an element of religious intolerance on their parts. Note that they are always generalized statements lacking in much detail. They are using one example. I am a retired RN. Doctors don't answer pages sometimes and it usually not intentional. The medical director or a partner covers and we continue to find the doctor. For one thing there is a high suicde rate among MDs and we would be worried about him. I have been involved with cases of mentally ill or addicted drs. I do not believe their statements. It is enitrely an implausible story that everyone would have just ignored the so called problems. Horse hockey.”

“Actually arguments can be made that the pre-Fed booms and busts were a lot smaller and not as harmful as the post Fed ones we've had to live through. Sure there were areas hit bad, but it was more locally and therefore never affected almost every facet of the economy like it does now.

We all know by now their manipulations and motivations in the crashes of '29 and '08, but before the implementation of the Fed, we never had a centralized bank, but $ was backed by gold much, much more stronger than now, so it never fluctuated that badly in value and therefore the booms and busts were relatively milder, but having something where the entire country's banking establishment is brought to its knees like now is only a result of the Fed central banking and manipulations.”
