“Obama and Reid reject negotiations out of hand. Do you not understand that. You are being gulled by the 2 slickest con men of all time. Sukker.”

“No, actually you are wrong. The GOP are the ones that don't want to negotiate. It is my way or the highway. Political Blackmail. you are the sukker. Sour grapes because the man without a plan lost. Imagine what the all could do if they worked as hard doing something GOOD for this country instead of wasting their time making life miserable for the people who actually work for a living.”

“That's why he's called the anointed one. He walks on water and does no wrong. I see n-u-t-t-i-n-g!”
“Harry Reid, Barack Obama. This administration chained off Veterans' Memorials and shut down Amber Alert. They are trying to inflict the most pain they can and they are the ones refusing to negotiate. Do not forget the GOP was literally locked out of conference rooms when Obamacare was hustled through. Shame on all of you gullible people.”

“Obama and his precious Obamacare are breaking this country just as he intended. He has added literally trillions more to the country's debt and still won't stop. The sad thing is this country keeps sending billions of dollars to these terrible countries for foreign aid. The spending spree is like a drunk sailor on a Sat. night. Welfare, food stamps is another thing that is not taken seriously. Those that actually need it can't get it. The people that know how to "beat the system" are the ones on all the freebies. I have always thought we need to take care of our own people before sending billions of dollars to every Tom, Dick and Harry on the planet. This country is in very sad shape and anyone that doesn't believe it is crazy.”

“You don't need affordable healthcare... I need it. So shut up.”
“There was no negotiation. The GOP was literally locked out of conference rooms. The ACA was rammed through during the holidays in the middle of the night, and only passed because of patronage and bribes.”

“The GOP wasn't locked out of conference rooms. They made the unprecedented demand to negotiate the ACA in Caucus, not Conference. The difference may escape you but imagine an NFL team demanding access to the opposition's half-time locker room meeting or they won't take the field for the second half. That's what became of House Republicans' demand to negotiate the ACA in the House Democratic Caucus. They were locked out of the locker room and lost in regulation. Game Over.”

“LIAR! The bill was introduced in the house on Oct. 29 2009 and the final version was passed on June 25 2010. There were months of negotiations and the bill was amended and changed several times. That doesn't even include the negotiations that went on before the bill was introduced in the House”

“As of today....my health insurance will cost just a little over half of what I am now paying come January. Same doctors, coverage, pharma- al of it. Next.”

“You keep coming back. So let me enlighten you.
Of course I have my health insurance. I'm one of the lucky ones. i've had it and my doctor for years. The insurance I have you can read about on OPM.gov where you will find the Federal Employee Health Plan, which is the blueprint for the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare as the uninformed choose to call it). It's the same plan that the members of Congress and Justices of the Supreme Court have. It's what this President and every Democrat President for the last 70 years have wanted for you and the American people. But you, Haskell, foolish as you are, have listened to the hate mongers who have frightened you and their other followers, convincing you that you are being dispossessed of your liberty and security.
I pay for my insurance. Take a look at what those of us covered under the FEHP pay either as self-only or family (no limit on the numbers), with choice of Insurance plans. It's in OPM.gov. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I pay $107 per month. I purchase Vision care for $24 per month - one free exam and $150 toward designer frames and one pair of free glasses. I pay $42 per month for Dental care. My coverage is $10,000 per year. Both of those are optional. Not bad, right? You could have this too if you'd switch channels from Fox to anything else.
“A real leader would have nipped these problems in the bud. Do NOT forget that Obamacare was pushed through in the middle of the night with all sorts of carve-outs and favors. The GOP was literally locked out of conference rooms. Now it is their fault?? Get serious and do some research.”

“I realize all of that and agree that it was done on the eve of a change from a democratic house to a republican majority. I have posted in many places my feelings about Obama's lack of leadership skills, vis a vis, "It's not my red line" and denying comments he made publically.
Two wrongs do not make a right. Obamacare flaws will result in major changes going forward. Holding the entire budget and economy hostage over a single issue is not the way to correct this issue.”
