For what it is worth: politics is exciting and unfortunately it lasts forever. Being that I can find political news on CNN, Fox News, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, Time Magazine, Drudge, HuffPo, WaPo, NY Times and many, many other sources, could I ask you if you and the good folks at MSNBC be my source for all the other news, not fit to print (or broadcast).

What is happening with the Bees? Whatever happened to Brett Tolman and the addendum he tacked onto the Patriot Act? Why are political strategists allowed to lie without being called on it? Why no word on the Pentagon program to "shape" public opinion regarding the Iraq war?

I'd like to see Richard Perle, Doug Feith, William the Bloody Kristol and the rest of them be interviewed by someone with the right questions and demand the correct answer from them. They've not been held to account since this mess started so long ago.

Why, though, if the 4th Amendment requires a warrant for searches, can a law be written to negate the Amendment without amending the Constitution itself?”

“I agree. Coverage of Mr. Russerts death rivals JFKs and I heard tonight that the funeral, though private, will be televised. I'm sure Mr. Russert was an outstanding man, father, husband, son and friend to many people, but as a journalist, who admitted "everything was off the record" unless otherwise stated, and as the host of the TV show Dick Cheney liked, because he could control the message, I find all of this TV coverage appalling. I'm sure Mr. Russert would also.”
