“Hawai'i is not a state, we are a nation under a lengthy and illegal occupation by the US government which we have been fighting to end for generations now. to say the joint resolution made us a territory would be like saying i purchased your shoes from you if i beat your ass, took them, and flicked a penny at your bloody body.”

“dont give this vehement support of slavery and then turn around and claim you "regret" it. unless you have an intention of righting the wrong you dont regret a thing. you have NO problem benefiting from the effects of slavery and genocide every day of your life. so dont vomit this ridiculous folly in logic that you can somehow be opposed to an institution you benefit from unashamedly and support vehemently. and no, native people have NOTHING to thank the west for, to even suggest otherwise is pure venomous racism.”

“white privilege is an amazing thing. you can live on land now that your ancestors stole, enjoy wealth now your ancestors acquired from slavery and racism, and benefit now from ALL the horrible things your ancestors did in the past. but you dont feel black people should get some measure of justice now for what their ancestors suffered, and what they STILL suffer as i direct result to this very day. its OK for white people to profit NOW from the CRIMES of their ancestors, but its NOT OK for black people to have justice NOW for what THEIR ancestors SUFFERED. and somehow you delude yourselves into thinking you arent the filthy racists that you are. white privilege is an amazing thing.”

Grow up and become an adult, stop blaming others for your failures. Stop being jealous of the success of others and make your own success without excuses for when you fail, as all successful people do from time to time.”

“they are IMMIGRANTS they CHOSE to come to america, why? because america had already become the world's wealthiest nation by then, why? because they used SLAVE labor for generations, a HUGE workforce and NOBODY to pay, all profits. profits that JUSTICE dictates belongs to the descendants of those slaves who CONTINUE to suffer racial persecution every day in america. ALL of america's wealth is tied to those horrible acts both past and present. the only one here claiming what they have no right to is you and your people, profiting from slave labor, rape, murder, and genocide on the daily. i have no claim to slave reparations, im not black and have no slave ancestors. unlike you i simply find myself unable to support slavery and the continuation of the institution of racial inequity and hate it has ushered into the modern age, i guess thats because unlike you i dont benefit from it. to be a white man.”

“Since my previous comment was moderated for, no doubt, insensitivity, I'll attempt a rephrase.

When I lived in Hawaii, I was either harassed, assaulted, intimidated, bullied, or threatened and being white didn't feel like a benefit. But I did get an incredible history class there and I learned that the Hawaiians practiced slavery, so it looks you profited from slavery as well. Are you going to pay reparations?

You made a great "people's" speech, you really channeled Al for a minute. Keep it up and maybe you'll win back Kaho'olawe one day.”

“and if the guy who owed you money fell into debt to others AFTER you, and you were suffering in poverty, would you care? OF COURSE NOT you would want YOUR money, that money is STILL property of the black community, it has been owed to them for generations now. i dont care if your inept nation is in debt, that literally has NOTHING to do with weather or not reparations should be payed. cant take the punishment dont commit the crime, people ignorantly preach to the black community all day about taking responsibility but are always so unwilling to do it themselves. your government committed HORRIBLE crimes that black community is STILL suffering from right now, i dont have words to express how little i care about its other debts, we are talking about THIS one.”
