Why should a Public Option on Health Care bankrupt the country? Canada and other industrialised countries that have Universal HC or Single Payer are not bankrupt? We are healthier, happier, we live longer and we do not have to suffer bankruptcy due to individual Health Care costs. Canada is a country of 33 million people, our tax rate is 10% higher that in the US, a country of 330+ million people, we invest more in education compared to the US, yet we're are not suffering and don't mind paying more in taxes because we believe HC is very important for the success and stabilization of our country and our citizens.
It's time the naysayers and the Rethuglians stop the BS and start doing something good for the citizenry of the country they claim to love.”
