“It is indeed time to bring home these facts to President Obama's administration. What the hell is he thinking? It appears that the people around the President are very learned in how to help the banking industry, but they do not have a clue of how to support our manufacturing industries.

Honestly, I thought, the focus of the Administratio whould have been more balanced. I WAS WRONG!”

Garybot replied on May 30, 2009 at 17:43:26

“heyjoe - he is thinking that things are humming right along on schedule. He doesn't want to help the people or the economy. HIs interest in making the government as powerful as possible and making people dependent on the government will do that.”

This is rediculous that all these people are cacasion males. That is utter madness.”

“FACT ALERT!!! The Community Reinvestment Program has the lowest, repeat...LOWEST default rates of ANY Federal home mortgage program. THAT IS A FACT! You can go online to FHA and check it out yourself. Low and mid-income citizens pay thier bills.
Subprime mortgages are totally seperate and apart from Community Reinvestment Programs.
You are correct Clinton's administration wanted banks to broaden their pool of people to whom they lend, but that does not have anything to do with the Community Reinvestment Program.”

Why would they vote for a President who has not offered one JOB, one TAX CUT, one bit of PROMISE to the citizens that the same COMPANIES who shipped thier jobs overseas would get? Why in the HELL would PA do that to itself? WHY?? Doesn't make sense to me.”

“Sen. Obama is now wearing a bullet proof vest on the campaign trail thanks to McCain and Palin's hateful rhetoric. This is pitiful that American nominees stoke historical hatred in this country to win the Presidency. Maybe if Ms. Palin knew more about the problems of the "lower 48th" she would be more graceful in her endeavor to lead this nation.

I could NEVER vote for McCain/Palin..NEVER!! SHAME on the two of them---SHAME!---SHAME!---SHAME!”

Snow97 replied on Oct 12, 2008 at 17:11:25

“I agree with you wholeheartedly. The poisonous tactics deployed by McCain/Palin in their recent desperation have taken this presidential contest beyond the realm of "reasonable minds disagreeing." People who vote for McCain and Palin now are also implicitly voting for, as the columnist says, hate used as a political weapon -- implicitly voting with each and every racist supporter that McCain and Palin leave unchecked.

By the way, I don't believe, not for one moment, that John McCain is unaware of what his running mate is saying, of the hate that she is fomenting. But I do believe it takes a particular type of politician to take such joy in saying such ugly things.”

“What wins elections is intelligent candidates who understands the times in which we live and who have a measure of competency to effectuate the changes we require to capitalize on those times. At this particular time in our nation's history, that candidate is Barack Obama.

I have never in my life donated money or helped in any way a campaign of any sort, but I have both donated and helped the Obama campaign here in Orange County, CA., which by the way is a conservative stronghold.

There are alot of people doing the same thing here. Truth is...the average person gets it! We understand times have changed and we realize that we have to move in a new and better direction in the United States. McCain just doesn't understand---McCain just doesn't get it.”

“He is not further ahead because no matter what Americans say...we find CHANGE hard to concieve. Look, the people of the former Soviet Union disassembled their government and chose a new course...east and west Germany did the same thing, but Americans would rather bury their heads in the sand and shout out old slogans about our greatness.

We are great people, but our politics,- our government has not proven to be as great for us as we deserve.

In this election we can decide to just keep our heads in the sand and pretend McCain will correct our nations course or we can suck it up, pull it together and put a man (Obama) in office who has the intelligence and THE WILL to put right our nation's affairs.”

No matter what McCain and the Repubs come up with, The Clintons, The T.V. heads, sorry I'm giving my vote to Obama. I trust that he has the intelligence and strength to correct things that have gone so seriously wrong.

The real story is, AFTER ALL THE REPUBLICANS, THE CLINTONS AND THE T.V. "PERSONALITIES" HAVE THROWN AT HIM HOW IS HE STILL STANDING.

Obama is strong and can handle the affairs of the nation with unmistakable grace. He gets my vote for sure. That is all this ole cooke has to say about that”

“Here's is what you don't say. People like myself, who was an Independent have decided that unless we are DEAD on election day, we are voting for Obama.

You do not understand that we have made up our minds and nothing Mc Cain, T.V people, The Clintons or anyone else says or does, will change our minds. WE ARE VOTING FOR OBAMA.

You do not get it! We have had it with the Republican agenda. It is over, the courtain has been drawn. We cannot be convenced to change our minds. WE ARE VOTING FOR OBAMA.
Here is why: (1.) Home value lower than home loan. (2.) Gas is $4.35 a gallon. (3.) Groceries up 20% over last year. (4.) Outsourcing our jobs. (5.) College tuition from $30,000 to $125,000 for a BA or BS.
(6.) Aging parents who need better benefits that they have PAID for during their working years. (7.) Depreciating value of the U.S. Dollar.

No Sir, we have lived through too much to put the Republicans back in power no matter what they say, now matter what the Clintons do, no matter how the T.V. "Personalities" act. WE ARE VOTING FOR OBAMA!!”
