“When I meditate, which I normally do in something more like an easy chair, my head drops like I'm in a deep sleep, though I am not. So your two cents are worth about nothing.”

“In providing your expert opinion you neglected to mention what your experiences with the military's "hurry up and wait" style have been. If you don't have any, then perhaps you should consider that maybe you don't know what you're talking about. I would also suggest you don't know much about how the media works if you don't realize that many of the photos used are stock photos and aren't necessarily specific to the article.”
“You make the same lame argument that conservatives make in the desert Southwest of the US, where there are large tracts of wilderness, full of archaeological sites. Many of these are closed to motorized vehicles. So a passel o' rednecks get together and run their ATV's through the canyon and then say, "Well lookee, there's tracks through here, so it's not wilderness after all. Guess we might as well tear it up, huh, boys?"
I'm sure you get the point, though you'll probably deny that too. That land can heal over time. And the only chance we have to keep the entire global ecosystem from collapse is to make an effort to heal it. So stop with the " Nuthin we can do ... too late now" garbage and do what you know can be done. Or would you prefer to remain part of the problem?”

“If there is a 'Gretest People in History' list that's worth anything, this man should be the next entry on it.”

“He had such profound words of wisdom. His words almost made me want to cry but more in joy then sadness, to hear such truth about war that felt so honest was awesome. Its so easy to send other peoples kids off to war. He understands how hard that is. I hope these students were moved as well and take his words to heart. "The worst negotiations are better then the best war"I love that.”

“You're willing to let the police, we're talking USA, shoot first and ask questions later police, do the work on crimes? No thanks.”

“No, I think he was referring to legalize it, tax it, drop the price and run the cartels out, and let the police work on crimes with victims, not shoot first and ask questions later police. You got those things mixed up.”

“Settle down Bruce, maybe my wording isn't perfect but police do prevent and investigate crimes with victims, I am suggesting freeing them up from wasting their time on Marijuana non victim crimes.
And imo there are a lot of good cops, and yes a few bad ones. Thank Goddess for cameras. No crime in your hood? I am still for police and that there DOES have to be basic law and order.
Maybe you might like Mexico better? There are a lot of countries where if you have enuf money you can buy all the police you want. TGIF!”
