“Well at least he is at the oval office. The previous president According to one source, George W. Bush spent 879 days at his Crawford Ranch. This doesn't mean this was a vacation for him, he constantly flew in staff member, held press conferences, and met with 18 world leaders at the ranch.

Another source reveals that during 2 terms as President, Bush spent all or of part of 487 days at Camp David, on retreats and made 77 trips to his Crawford Ranch, in Texas, where he spent all or part of 490 days, on his Ranch.

The total number of days of vacation or retreat President Bush took, while in office over a period of 8 years was 977 days, or 32% of his total time in office, was spent on vacations or retreats.

Whichever source is accurate, he spent approximately 1/3 of his time away from the White House. That does not necessarily mean that he was not available if needed”

“No, buddy, I own a TV, and if you watched those games, the players around Tebow made him look good, not him alone. So many open receivers and the ball never got to them. Maybe if Tebow played a fullback he could've continued in the NFL. But hey, he made a financial killing in the past two years, more power to him!”

No, all the internet providers collect our data without our permission and sells it to the highest bidder, I am sure the government has some sort of payment plan for this data. And besides, I am not worried, we should hunt down terrorist living within our borders. It's the governments job to hunt these criminals down before they hunt us.”

NRA Attacks Connecticut 'Sandy Hook Law'

Commented Apr 4, 2013 at 23:04:27 in Politics

“Indeed, on State passing a law to prohibit some guns doesn't really change much when you can drive a few hours in any direction and buy what you want in another State! The only thing that would work is a Nation wide move. Like in Massachusetts, it's hard to get a machine gun, drive two hours north to NH, boom, get anything you want, period. How does that help the overall situation, it doesn't. So in regards to the NRA, they are right, these patchwork laws in each State is pretty much useless. But it's a start?”

hikeon43 on Apr 4, 2013 at 23:38:37

“So the NRA, which doesn't listen to their own members regarding, for instance, background checks, have won because they have to protect the gun manufacturers, not the public or children. Congress has been well paid to stop any progress there, so we should just go away and hope the next bullet from a mentally ill person doesn't take another innocent person's life.”

skiptrippi on Apr 4, 2013 at 23:16:14

“Obviously you don't know guns. You can't just go to another state and buy a machine gun. Starters you need a class 3 permit, very extensive background check, hard to get and expensive as it should be. Second, you can buy most "assault weapons" for around $1K and machine guns cost anywhere from $15-60K.”
