“Hard to believe many people are not aware that white , LOTS of white people, live in Africa also.
So why shouldn't a white woman be on the cover?”

“For one the major problem with everyone is this slang. Afrakans are a race of people not some monolithic color. Thats called a stereotype. And the problem have a with both parties is the education. Why would any European do this knowing the history of it. And Afrakans are just as much to blame as Europeans for going around calling themselves the N word, Negro or black. I have family from Afraka also been to Europe and Asia. I have never seen a race of ppl all the same color. Afrakans are to blame for promoting this nonsense and European are for not be culturally senstive!”

“Why shouldn't a white woman be on the cover? A white woman is always on a cover. The problem here is that this publication deliberately skipped over booking a real black model, then took the time an energy to paint over a white face when they could've had the real thing who would've depicted an African queen 10x better. The underlying message they've sent is that a black woman wasn't good enough to to portray this beauty. The magazine tried to smooth it over but it backfired because everyone saw right through it and called them out on it.”

“Because she is not depicting a white woman in Africa she is depicting a black woman in Africa! I don't understand how people just don't get it. Maybe people don't want to get it. Hispanics complain its okay, Jewish community complains its okay, black people complain and its a problem. She is free to do the cover as a white women from Africa. Make sense”
