“Instead of being so upset by an incorrect pronunciation of a name they should be much more concerned about how our country has (yet again) completely abandoned Poland by unilaterally scrapping plans for a missile defense system.”

MJinCanada replied on Dec 09, 2009 at 22:39:10

“Umm, as I recall, the Poles really weren't all that keen on it. It was just the US wiggling a middle finger at Russia on someone else's turf.

Which is a feeling I grew up with, BTW. During the Cold War, we knew quite well that the shortest route for Soviet and US missiles was directly overhead, and that western Canada was nothing more than a fallout zone for Nixon, Reagan and company.”

And Beck was offensive. that wasn't incorrect pronunciation, that was purposeful exaggerated mispronunciation. It really shows that Beck hates non Americans.”

“I can see that. I mean the audacity of her. Daring to rip someone to shreds with her superior intellect, especially when it has every thing to do with the way she was born. If you think this person is right you need to wake up and smell the coffee. Repressing your homosexuality and pretending to be straight does not a straight person make.

I tried it for 31 years.”

The difference between her and those guys, though, is that she could swallow the bile and have a civil conversation with a guy who stands 180 degrees from everything she believes in and everything she is. A guy whose life work is being used to justify killing people like her.

Imagine Bill-O having an activist on who was claiming that straight people should all "convert". How many seconds would tick away before he called the guy a pinhead and cut off his mike?”

You said that Christian text starts with Matthey, ect. There is nothing to infer that you meant that the Old Testament was not exclusively Christian.

"Christians" tend to cherry-pick the bible-the whole bible-to try to make their limp-wristed "points".

Aren't the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament? How are they not part of the "Christian Text?".”
