Doctors Believe They've Diagnosed Illness Of Boy Who Cries Tears Of Blood (VIDEO)
Commented Sep 03, 2009 at 18:01:46 in Living
“"..believe they have diagnosed .." -- unbelievable -- I diagnosed it immediately:
1. The guy who cries blood has a condition which results in the tears being blood filled and being cried.
2. The guy who cries blood is an example of what's known as a "blood-crier".
3. His lacrimal glands issue forth a red, haemo-rich fluid generally known as blood. The fluid pours out of the glands surrounding the eyes and falls in a downward motion as if under the force of gravity. In this way, he seems to be crying tears made of blood. We doctors call this a "gravitati onally-inf luenced trajectory of haemo-rich lacrimal fluid", or GITHLF for short.
This article could have just been titled:
DOCTORS ADMIT THEY HAVEN'T A CLUE
Surely that would be closer to the truth.”

“Haemolacria literally means "blood-tears".
Haemo = blood (as in haemoglobin, haemophilia)
Lacria = tears (as in lacrimal gland)
The patient presents and says he's crying tears of blood and the doctor says "ah, that's called haemolacria". umm, thanks Doc but I just told you that!
So this entire story is that a doctor pointed out the fancy name for the condition.
He knows the Latin name, but can he do anything about it?
Nope - not a clue.
Thank you, Western Medicine”

“"Thank you, Western Medicine"
You mean as opposed to alternative medicine where they will make things up to cure it?
Crystal Healing:
How about I rub this crystal on you. Crystals have powers endowed by nature that make them heal people's body and mind and soul.
Homeopathy:
How about I give you some blood to drink? After all, like cures like, right? But first I'm going to dilute it down and down and down and down until it's pretty much just water. That surely will cure this.
Religious nonsense or Reiki (take your pick):
Or how about just some old fashioned laying of hands?
How about you just wait until they discover the cause of his condition. Several known diseases cause this symptom, they need to find out what is doing it so they can cure THAT. The bloody tears are a symptom, not a disease.”

“In one sense, this article is right. The official results vary significantly from the exit polls in the US during the last 8 years.
In another sense, this article is wrong. Exit polls have always been a fairly good indicator of final results and remain good indicators in many other countries. Only in the US during the last 8 years, and in utterly corrupt regimes in other parts of the world, are exit polls unreliable.
Landslide Denied describes the difference between exit polls and official results in the 2006 election.

When I got to VietNam, the first thing after stepping off the big C-130 was to pick up our jungle gear, which included a rifle. There were hundreds of us coming and going. And, unlike the administration official who came on TV yesterday and said, '...it was too confusing and everything was rushed, "We couldn't keep track of anything"' we still knew where our weapons were - in fact it was a court martial, with heavy loss of rank and brig time if anyone lost a weapon.
It was no less confusing in VietNam - the supply gunny still had his troops out there with clip boards checking off our names as we went through. It takes no time at all. And, NO that's not a national secret to hand out equipment. !!”
