“Jim is a victim of enemy deprivation syndrome. Without an enemy he doesn't know which side is up. Dick Cheney shares his syndrome.”

“Actually, Jim is a victim of 2 uncles who have died of black lung and 3 nephews who have died in coal mine collapses. He would like to see an improvement in where and how we get our power. Vast improvements are needed to improve that. Vast improvements are needed to correct a problem smothering the entire planet. James is a victim of buying into the 3% scientists of the world who say there is nothing happening and of selling out his heart and soul and mind to them instead of the 97% who say a problem does exist. The differences in Jim and James are quite simple. Jim believes in erring on the side of caution. James has concluded there is nothing to worry about and invents people with "enemy deprivation syndrome" -- like Jim -- who ironically care about all people...even James.”

We are trying to figure out options and alternatives. The aim is to pool our wisdom and offer choices seeking places where health, honest, respectful discussion is taking place in a real community of people connected to each other. There are some good ones out there like PlanetPOV, Daily Kos, HP Refugees, All-len-All, and Epoch. I am a member at Planet POV, Daily Kos and HP Refugees. I have not settled on which will be my home base but I will keep folks in the loop. Please feel free to pass this on. I hope to hear from you. Please respond to this reply and then e mail me.”
“OMG. Six years after and some Americans still think BHO is God's gift to democracy.
Just the facts, Jim. You're right about everything if the alternative is Mitt Romney, if the alternative is Jill Stein or Ralph Nader, you need to deal with the truth. Obama colluded with Wall Street and the military industrial petroleum complex to get elected, not that there's anything true about that.
BHO recognizes that coal is bad. When he does the same for Air Force One, meat, Chevy Suburbans, and the Afghan War I'll share your faith.”

“Yes well, I'm sure if we'd just put you in the White House instead you'd have fixed everything even as the Republican Party said "NO" to 100% of everything and disallowed 98% of all legislation to even come to the floor (that wasn't theirs). No one is God's gift to democracy but certainly in a race for the title Obama would win of Bush and Reagan who created this mess by a landslide. You cannot have it both ways. You cannot kick a man and then when he's down keep kicking him. The gross disrespect and outrageous treatment of this President is unprecedented. The Congress and the Justice department should be JAILED, and you want to put the entire mess this country has finally come to on this President's back. Shame on you and anyone else who has been in a far worse collusion than what you accuse this president. The hate, the anger, the lies, the fabrication. My God, shame on you. You do not get to even run for president if you aren't willing to stroke power. Surely you must know that or at least have sense enough to understand everyone pays the piper. Do you really think Obama or anyone else is capable of going to Washington and waving a magic wand? And yet, what this President has accomplished in the face of what's been done to him is amazing. If it were possible and I had anything to do with it, I'd put two busts of him on Mount Rushmore. And you piss on that all you want. I don't care. No one will change my opinion of this President. He's one of the greats. Perfect? I never said so -- you and others say that I said so. ”
“As much as I admire Hillary America would be better off with Elizabeth Warren on the ballot in 2016.
Baggage matters, has a candidate ever put more on the scale than Mrs. Clinton? EW, native sin aside, is baggage free. Fresh, just as smart as Hillary, more liberal because she doesn't owe any favors, and new.
“What manner of red blooded American doesn't embrace "taking a full-arsenal approach that digitally exploits the clues a target leaves behind in their regular activities on the net to compile biographic and biometric information."?
Two stupid wars, three trillion wasted dollars, 10,000 dead Americans, a million dead foreigners; yup, the NSA collecting baseball cards ruins my America.”
