Perhaps Blago has some statements or recordings of witnesses, emails etc to use to discredit some of the government's cooperating witnesses.
I really doubt that the FBI or DOJ had anything to do with it, but neither organization is immune to the weaknesses of human nature and they've both done worse to cover their asses in the past.”
