“OPHTHALMOLOGY HERE- One of our patients was considering eye surgery, who also happens to work for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of California! I was telling him that hopefully his coverage would extend to his needed procedure, but since he had BCBS I didn't know. He said," What do you mean? Oh, you mean, denying claims and canceling policies? Yeah we did that, but we've been told not to do that anymore." People: BCBS is notorious for this, and we have the say-so straight from one of their own employees. They are trying to whitewash what they do and we would be foolish to think it's not being done elsewhere, or that they won't try it again ONCE THE BAD PRESS HAS GONE AWAY.”

“Funny how when politics changes hats to sports, anything goes.... Nobody is against free speech and nobody is against free enterprise and ownership. However, when a potential owner is a fascistic, Aryan-touting, hateful, destructive person (yes, as evidenced by the words out of his mouth) - 1)how would his employment policies affect team philosophy, hiring, and fair practices in general when many minorities participate in sports? 2) Why would anyone want to sponsor/make money for such a destructive, divisive person? 3) Why would any non-white players ever want to play for such an owner and subjective themselves to potential racist treatment?

“Yeah, I definitely think what's gravy for the goose and certainly gravy for the gander (read: male or female). We live in what is rapidly becoming a graceless world, profane and rude. If people simply tuttutted bad language, it would be only one aspect. It is also the crudeness of thought or lack of grace that went behind it. Not racial, certainly, but as I have been a longtime admirer of Serena Williams, so very disappointed in her behavior and the message it sends to all viewers and the sport.
