“How about reporting something positive going on in the African American community or just leave it alone. You are not helping with the constant negative reporting. Have you ever heard of the Law of Attraction, Maybe if we speak about what is good than more good would come.”

“This article is annoying. I do not understand why the progress of African Americans is always measured against what white America is doing. Its like comparing apples and oranges. If you know anything about American history than you should know that blacks have had a late start. And when they did actually get started, its not like the government said lets set them up with a good education, some money some land. Slavery was followed by extremely oppressive racism. They had nothing coming out of slavery, most were illiterate because education was denied them. In ever other arena a late start matters why not when you talk about black progress. The bottom line is African American women are more educated now than any other time in this country's history. Can we PAUSE there and really take that in. they ought to be commended and not torn down further.”
