Catholic Church Threatens To Stop Feeding Homeless Over Gay Marriage

“When are we all going to grow up and realize that all these so called religious org.'s
want us to believe in there imaginary friend called god. They want us to believe that, even beyond our common sense nature, that some people need help in this life and they don't need unnecessary impediments, that they are the moral arbitrators and that we all should go along with there interpretations.
Why do we let religious org.'s dictate policy decisions, they need there non profit status looked at.
I am beginning to really hate there god”

How the Republicans Failed to Cut Off My Health Care Speech
Commented Nov 07, 2009 at 17:12:46 in Politics
“President Obama needs a little of Grayson's moxie. The way rethuglicans have been on the debate on health care today has been rude and they continue to lie about the bill.
They have no idea's of their own and what they say is there bill is nothing more than the same old tired ideas that have done nothing to improve people's access to quality health care.”

Right Wingers Wreak Havoc on Philadelphia Town Meeting
Commented Aug 03, 2009 at 15:30:34 in Eyes & Ears
“They should have rules at these townhall meetings.
If you speak out of turn or shout out when someone is asking a question or listening to an answer those people should be escorted out of the townhall. period. no questions asked
It is rude behavior and is not fair to the folks who came to get questions asked. They can ask questions too in turn.”

“Rush has one talent, I saw him at a forum once he talked extemporaneous for 2 hours without taking a break, he can be given a oscar for the most longwinded explanation of everything that exists.
However on closer examination on can see that he never goes outside to take a walk and commune with nature, but he pretends to know all about global warming, and how environmentalist are ruining america.
This is a man who makes millions per year and tell an audience of mostly poorer folks that they should pay the majority of taxes while cutting the riche's taxes.
I was a salesman a long time ago and I can tell you that people will buy almost anything.
Please let us wise up!!!”

“laissez-faire capitalism 'Leave us be, 'Let us do
"Leave us be" We sure did this and look what happened, 50 billion ponzy schemes, 700 billion for bail out of wall street, and foreclosures.
"Let us do" They did what? They flew corporate jets to far away golf courses and fancy hotels for much needed rest and relaxation. They really know how to "DO" for themselves but they don't give a hoot about folks who work for a living, and who are brought down by their greed.
We bail them out and they still party and golf at fancy places around the world. What fools we are. We are totally taken in by the illusion of making it big, so we continue to support this highly discredited type of economy.”

When are americans going to wake up and realize that the repuglicans are just for one thing busting unions in order to try to defeat dems. They don't care who they hurt, throw out on the street, or turn a once prospers middle class into a below the poverty line class.
How can anyone vote for them when all they do is help out rich folks, and tear down the middle class, you have to be a fool.”

“dont we see what is going on here the repuglicans are trying to bust the final nail in the coffin of organized labor.
Most americans don't know much about the labor union but if they did they would soon realize that the only protection they have is unions. Do you think that there are many employers who like unions or are fair to their employees.
The problem with all of what is going on today is there is no america or americans. Ever since Regan and his push to destroy unions we have been going down the ME ME ME road not really caring about the plight of others in this country. We have no sense of what is fair, that is why 45 million people have no health insurance, many of us have jobs that pay not much more than a minimum wage, and yet we reinforce the idea that unions are bad. Unions are bad, they are bad for those in power who would like to pay us what ever they can get away with, work us seven days a week, and fire us if we complain”
