“No, just Liberal Commies...”

Carolina h on Nov 27, 2010 at 15:34:30

“LMAO... can you possibly TRY and come up with some other argument? I mean, mid 20th-century name-calling doesn't do it anymore. Let's have coherent discussions for once. Oh, wait.. sorry, forgot there are Palin cult followers here.”

Why Sarah Palin's North Korea Flub Matters

“How do liberals know that Sarah knows nothing...Have you ever been the gov. of a state? Maybe your job at the discount record store makes you so smart...”

TurnToTheLeft on Nov 27, 2010 at 14:47:55

“We look at her behavior while Governor of Alaska: official state correspondences sent via private email accounts rather than the official Governor's email, her husband sat in on all official meetings as if he were elected to office, vendettas carried out on personal enemies for the arresting her son on vandalism of public school buses, vendettas carried out on good public servants who were doing their jobs according to the law... The list goes on but I doubt you read much.

Smart is different than informed. I am informed because I read newspapers (NY Times online, Washington Post online), magazines (Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone and The New Yorker online and internet sites from all spectrum - or I could just say "Any of them, All of them Katie!"

I wasn't aware that there are discount record stores anymore - digital files killed vinyl - though there are a few vintage record stores in my city, San Francisco, where I have been thinking of selling some of my rare albums.

As for work - you got me there "johnnyusa1"; I am a retired Library Public Servant. I love to read and I know how to research.

and you?”

“We need to follow the Constitution and get the FED out of social issues and our pockets.”

WFWS on Nov 27, 2010 at 14:31:18

“The Constitution is not scripture. It CREATES a LEGISLATURE who can make laws, and branches that interpret and execute laws. Its not STATIC. It even has a means to CHANGE the constitution, which has been done many times. Its a mistake to try to force our government back to a simpler time because largely that simpler time doesn't really exist.
What you are really saying is that you want the government to work the way YOU want it to work, not the way it does today. I bet you want government involved on some social issues. How do you feel about smoking pot? Should that be illegal? Same about taxes. I bet if government started to crumble because you strangled it TOO much, you'd be screaming that its the Fed's responsibility to (input whatever thing you can't live without here). Maybe its airport regulation. Maybe its medicare. Maybe its finance regulation or protecting pensions. I bet you WANT government to be involved in some things.
What part of the Constitution are we not following?”

“Um...what about the last election, seems the tea party is just getting stronger and people just want the Fed out of our lives...not deeper into it.”

Randolph Greer on Nov 27, 2010 at 15:12:36

“At no time in this nation's history have the people wanted the government out of their lives . That is true of both Progressives and conservatives . You don't have to believe me . Just pay close attention to what people of all kinds actually do . Not what they tell you they believe . You don't even want the government out of your life either . You actions will always betray your true feelings . I think such comments as yours are so humorous because they are not true on their face .”

“Pretty lame attempt at belittling someone, making their name an acronym but small minded liberals think this is a good way to be creative. It only shows how immature you guys are and why your numbers are dropping like a rock.”

SaraSH on Nov 27, 2010 at 13:20:44

“belittling? You mean Sarah is NOT a Pathetic LIE to INSULT this nation? Last time I checked, MOST AMERICANS agree with this statement. It sure isn't belittling at all, it's just the truth.”
