“I've seen plenty of people go from normal cigs to e-cigs then back to normal cigs. There is no way taking a chemical other than oxygen into your lungs can be good for you.
I've quit smoking by using nicotine lozenges.”

“Then I hope you avoid cities and any other place where there are cars, scented air sprays and other people who exhale all that nasty formaldehyde in your face. The bottom line is breathing is bad for you these days but people would rather micromanage someone else's life than expend the same level of energy demanding that we have clean air.”

“"I've seen plenty of people go from normal cigs to e-cigs then back to normal cigs."
I actually don't believe you. I've been reading everything I could find (including comments) for the past two years about e-cigs because I was so amazed and thrilled by my personal experience which resulted in me quitting a 50+ year smoking habit. I have never once heard of anyone going back to regular cigarettes after changing to e-cigarettes.”

Umm, I hate to break this to you, but the air you breathe is 78% nitrogen.”

“Some people are addicted to the behavior rather than the nicotine so those other nicotine products don't do the trick.”
“All drugs should be legalized. On the same premise that all women have a right to control their own bodies. Arresting someone for passion of a drug or using a drug, is a violation of the constitution.”
“I heard someone say once that branding the Affordable Healthcare Act as "Obamacare" could backfire on the Republicans is people start to like it. Not to mention the other thing that being against something that so many people like is bad politics as well.
Imagine a scene where John Banner snatches a wheelchair away from a little kid who can't walk.”
bamwam55 on Apr 28, 2014 at 16:49:51
“Boehner,or was it McConnell, did say that they had to stop Obamacare before it ever passed because if and when it did people would discover that they like it too much to ever repeal. At least they got that right.”
“Two of those cities Saginaw and Flint are only about 20 miles apart. Both have extremely violent streets as well.”

“Violent armed riots and insurrections are predictable, ala the French Revolution and the Russian Revolution, when income inequality becomes rampant, when the majority of the people are starving and they find their situations economically hopeless.
Mass unemployment will foster the mass civil unrest, crime, anger, riots, revolution, starvation, etc. as required for starting a revolution.
Conditions for riots and insurrections are approaching because some people are beginning to find their situations totally hopeless economically.
If any future US revolution to overthrow the US government occurs, maybe to change the economic situation, where will all of the food, fuel, water, sanitation, medicine, and other necessities to support the population come from during and after the revolution?
These necessities will not exist within hours after the revolutionary hostilities start.
We are approaching that point of no return, which I will define as the point where we have sold all of our privately owned assets to foreign owners to pay for our various US government activities and our imported products that we consume.
After foreigners own all of our wealth and US located assets, we will no longer have any economic or intellectual resources available for re-industrialization.
I would prefer to not have to live through a revolution, but I believe that we should be prepared in case a revolution happens if we wish to survive this anarchy.
How do we know that the government and/or dictatorship following a revolution will be any better than the previous government?”
“Me too, started with Pong (ya aging myself) played most of the major MMORPG's and now I am in ESOL. I love PvP. Almost as much as I love the sound of grown men crying when I wipe the floor with them,...haha.”
“I play StarCraft 2, and BF4. Also I'm really enjoying Assassins Creed BF. All on PC. You will find a lot more women playing games RPGs like ESOL. I didn't care for ESOL but I have over 300 hours into Skyrim.”
JonnyTruant on Apr 28, 2014 at 04:34:25
“Skyrim is pretty win. I like ESO but it does feel like it's missing a lot. My ex was really into pvp and co-op shooters, so I know there are plenty of girls who really work the PC gaming. There are a lot of people, both male and female who only play facebook or smartphone games. I won't knock 'em. Different strokes and all that. I happen to enjoy builders and civ games as well as MMOs. I'm really picky about my RPGs and shooters, though.”
joe1964 on Apr 27, 2014 at 15:07:38
“I have been loving ESOL. Taking out enemies with others is a new experience for me as I've never played a MMPOG before. It does get a bit repetitive...but then, so did Skyrim. A lot of that games appeal was its shear visual beauty. My biggest complaint is that the player to player interface seems clunky and hard to operate.”
“Well a lot of die hard gamers don't get out to much do they?”
Brian Mendicino on Apr 25, 2014 at 08:44:57
“I'm a die hard gamer and only get in about 3 hours a week at best. I work full time with a 1.5 hour commute each way, and have a girl friend that I prefer to spend my time with (going out with other couples, dinners, hiking, etcc. But when she's not around, and I have a few hours of down time, I actually prefer to just stay in and enjoy a much needed couch sitting. Nothing wrong with that.”
“$215 a day with all those expenses is a very low offer. I would turn it down flat.
What people don't realize is that Amazon is the new Walmart. In all actuality, I think I hate Amazon more than Walmart because of what they are doing to retail everywhere. People will shop in a store, get expert advise at the store, find what they like, and then go give the sale to Amazon. And local retailers are going out business because of it.
I envision a day when the only way you can buy anything is through Amazon. And if you want to see, feel, and touch a product, or have questions answered by an expert, then you will have to go to a show room and pay admission or a hourly fee.
One way to even the playing field is to require sales tax on web sales or abolish all sales tax.”

“This is like watching Bible Propgecy unfold before our eyes; Don't expect it to stop until Gog and maygog form an alliance and The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras along with prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal are somehow united.”
“And just can't get over the irony of the fact that if she was standing with sand under her feet, ocean and sunshine in the background, wearing even less no one would say word one about it.
Body shame is puritanical, and just dumb. And besides, she looks great.”

“and yet if she was fat and ugly at the beach wearing less, everyone would care about it.. lol.. public eyesore.
and if a grown man walked by a playground wearing that dress every would care...
its interesting, the dicadomy of social and moral standing. isnt it?”
pattypooh43 on Apr 20, 2014 at 18:09:52
“You are so right. Google Alicia Keys performing with Maroon 5 at the grammy in 2013. Look at what she wearing.”
teachchem2 on Apr 20, 2014 at 13:42:08
“If she were standing in sand, She would be exposing less.
In addition, there is a factor of appropriateness. A bikini is appropriate at the beach, not on the red carpet.”

“She's not at the ocean, she's at a premier. It's not about body shame, she has an awesome body and no on is criticizing it. What she doesn't seem to have is taste. The dress is tacky. Great body, tacky dress, period.”
