During his first term, dubya made a shambles of the American economy and got us snarled in an illegal war and mis-manged the Afghan war, turned our country into a banana republic and rewarded only the rich and strangled the middle class and made life for the poor all hell.
And then for reasons I'll never understand, he was voted into a 2nd term where he really messed things up. It was so bad that EVERYBODY knew the replacement Prez was in for a rough ride.
So slong comes Obama and so many comments on here stating his incompetence although from what I've observed, he's been working to get the economy back on track and taking a thoughtful stance on the wars.

Its tough now. I know its gonna get tougher. But if Obama can provide education stimulus for so many of our kids and provide a more stable world to operate within, perhaps we can succeed again. Americans are amazing when they get their act going.”
