Barack Obama Dominated the Medium and the Message
Commented Oct 31, 2008 at 00:17:11 in Politics
“Maybe the conclusion you could make from your gripe about the media coverage is if you run a negative campaign the coverage will be negative. Run a positive message and campaign and your coverage will trend positive. Positive things happen to positive people.”
PNOGUY replied on Oct 31, 2008 at 20:03:51
“OH geez, now you're conducting a New Age campaign. Think positive and good things happen! Norman Vincent Peale would be your ideal candidate. People are positive about Obama because they can believe anything about him and get a warm fuzzy feeling. There is no evidence that he can do any of the things he promised. World leaders will laugh him off the stage, when they're not taking advantage of his wide-eyed naivite.”

Obama Biding Time With Biden
Commented Aug 24, 2008 at 17:49:32 in Politics
“When the nation has been so conservative for so long, you cant just shove every liberal loving idea down their throats all at once. People know we need change, thus the Obama nomination, but the Biden pick as veep will help with those that need a little help getting there. Remember, first and foremost, you have to win the election to start the change.”

“Loyalty will have it's reward if you quit moping about and get on the stick and work your ass off for an Obama victory. We can argue about the DNC rulings and party leader point you make, but at this point it is a waste of energy that could be better spent working towards an Obama victory. It has been 2 months now since the last primaries and Clinton's concession, it is time to let it go.”

“B.S. !!! Obama has clearly stated he will be working to strike the parts of the bill everyone finds so damn objectionable. Your inability to accept Obama's well thought out and sensible argument reminds me of the Hillary supporters that are vowing to vote for McCain because their candidate lost. The Republicans have spent 30 yrs screwing up our country and it is going to take years to get things going on the right track again. The change will be gradual and slower then many would like. Making sure Obama and not McCain is elected is the first step along with more a Democrat congress. I certainly don't agree with Obama on all issues but he certainly is a better choice then McCain.”

“I couldn't disagree more. There are plenty of excellent Democrats to pick from without having to dip in the Republican swill bucket. Although Hagel is passionate about getting out of Iraq, there is hardly any other Democratic value/issue he embraces. In a political cycle that continues to heavily favor Democrats, it isn't necessary to invite a Republican on the ticket.”

She is articulate and smart, and in my opinion looks more Presidential. BO should stay in the Senate for awhile, and if he truly has talent, his day will come.”
