“I think there a lot of surprises from this law coming.”

“the 3.5% cost to an insurer just to enter the exchange was news to me. I knew about some others (FSA/Home sale/medical devices/capital gains/free wellness/birth control) - but not this one.
By mid 2013 we will finally know what they consider "affordable" premiums. It will be a shocker.”

“I love the property sale one if you make 250k as a family or 200k as a single, that's a fun one.”
“They aren't news channels? And the internet doesn't provide news either? Well then how do you get your news? The Nation? Hopefully not Huffington Post. There won't be anyone around to write for them...
“I CAN TELL YOU RIGHT NOW WHY THIS STUDY IS A FRAUD: If people didn't watch ANY news, how would they know anything about what is going on in Egypt, etc. Their neighbors fill them in? Please. I worked for a survey company and if you want certain results, I can achieve them easily.
More evidence HuffPo is going down the TUBES!”
Iamrebelriser on Nov 22, 2011 at 16:10:28
“Why come here, then if you think it is "going down the tubes?" Of course, you come here only to harrass. Stay off, then since you're too stupid to understand or to want the truth.”
Iamrebelriser on Nov 22, 2011 at 16:08:38
“What do you expect when all you listen to is FOX? Of course, their polls are fraud. And further more, proof that you Tea Partiers come here to harrass, but don't read the articles, the study said those who don't listen to any news know more than those who listen to FOX.”

“Doesn't say they don't read.”

“Now that's just dumb. Haven't you heard of the Internet? It's what your computer is linked to.
I haven't "watched the news" in years. And I most certainly am more informed than you are.”
bracco on Nov 22, 2011 at 15:50:50
“Ever hear of "reading"? The radio? Or the internet?... A rhetorical question, I know.
I don't watch news any more. I read it and watch online, subscribe to feeds, etc. TV and cable news is drivel. Sounds like you've unwittingly proved the survey correct.”
dtaylo75 on Nov 22, 2011 at 15:50:15
“This might shock you, but there are other sources for news besides "watching the news". There's this thing called a newspaper that some people still ready. And there's this new invention you might have heard of called the "internet". Ring any bells?
Point is that those who watch FoxNews are consistently misinformed. Go stick your head back in the sand if you must, but please let the adults in the room be in charge, m'kay?”

“Um have you heard of newspapers, the Internet, the Radio...you really need to stop watching FOX”

“Obama not coming on his show now that he's president might have something to do with.... HIM BEING PRESIDENT. He doesn't have time to come on your crappy show that no one watches.
And where are the profits from the poverty tour going? Probably not to the poor.”

“Obama has time for photo op junkets out of the bubble to visit a factory in a swing state and attend a $35k a seat fund raiser. His administration hates the left which makes right wing hatred of him rather odd.
I saw more vitriol against Clinton by the right than against Obama.”

“Right. As if 1995 and Task Force Ranger didn't wake the country up to the fact that these people have been leaiving in a civil war-infested dust bowl for decades. With all of the people leaving Detroit, maybe we can give them that area?”

“OK, that's why we give 500 billion to the Israelis and not a shriek for anyone.”
“I refuse to use Facebook, about the time I was thinking about creating an account I read a news story about how many companies are using Facebook as part of the hiring process so they can see what you have decided to share with the world. Most people in America don't seem to care about personal privacy anymore but I do so I limit what I place of myself on the web.”
“There is no budget crisis in Wisconsin? That should disqualify him there from any credibility.”
Abba Natan on Feb 24, 2011 at 18:37:05
“Walker started with a Budget Surplus, and then gave it away in Corporate Tax Breaks, creating a deficit. The only crisis is in his hyperbolic attitude and that his ballooning ego may explode his head. He has gotten every financial concession he asked for so the budget is now truly balanced so what is the crisis?? Its' a sleight of hand trick! That bill also contains a provision that will give him the power to sell state assets, like multi-million dollar power plants, in NO BID contracts. This a classic diversionary tactic to keep people from seeing his Classic Master Plan - rob from the poor and middle class so his corporate buddies can all get richer. Classic scapegoating! Classic Robber Baron ploy! Back to the Future, a return to the good old days when big business could do just about anything they wanted without any consequences.
Republicans in Congress have just gotten started with their so called Obamacare repeal. Why take flack for changing laws when you can gut those same laws instead?? They are going to abolish every business regulatory group they don't like by defunding them. Today its' the NLRB and EPA, next it's the FTC, FCC, SEC, and OSHA, to name a few.”
ArtVandelayGA on Feb 24, 2011 at 18:09:56
“The only budget crisis in Wisconsin is the one Walker created when he turned the surplus he inherited into a deficit by cutting corporate taxes. It's all part of the plan. Wisconsin's fiscal house is in good shape compared to most of the country, but he needs an excuse to do the Koch brothers' bidding. Now all of a sudden, Wisconsin has a budget emergency. Puh-leeze.”
Iam4thiscountry on Feb 24, 2011 at 18:09:42
“Of course there is a Budget crisis. Almost every state is having one. The problem is that the Unions have already said they are ok with paying more for their insurance, etc., etc. What they are fighting for is the right to collective bargaining, Manditory union dues, etc. Things that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BUDGET!!!”
“Wow. A Democrat organization does a poll showing that the state LOVES Democrats. Next time, you might want to do a poll where you actually ask questions to people instead of making numbers up. What were the chances that an AFL-CIO poll would show Walker's popularity.”
