“Would you prefer the mentally roaming our communities killing with explosives, burning people alive, or poisoning them? How about we start getting the dangerously ill and the religious zealots off the streets? Stop worrying so much about their rights and take care of the rest of us.”
“Please tell the President so we can cut the secret service agents and all the other armed guards that are well paid to protect all these politicians and government buildings. Of course- the backgrounmd check system has failed a few times too- so lets not do that anymore either.”
“terry- you're confused. Don't you know death doesn't count unless it's from a gun. Kids that die in cars and pools don't count. Nor the ones who die in abortion clinics, or from medicine overdoses, or suffications, or hotdog chokings. The loss of those lives is just something we have to accept. Gun deaths on the otherhand are somehow more tragic and horrifying.”

“I think you misread my blog or said it wrong. I'm tired of people blaming the gun.”
“Shouldn't you thank everyone who voted for a bill they didn't read?”

the National Rifle Assn. is too strong to overcome. So if the White
House and Democrats in Congress want to pass consumer-friendly credit
card reform, they have to swallow hard. Today, House Speaker Nancy
Pelosi is splitting the vote into two parts. While both will end up in
the bill, at least urban Democrats can tell constituents they voted
against the guns. - See more at: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/05/fine-print-in-credit-card-reform-concealed-weapons-ok-at-national-parks.html#sthash.YKIDY1Lz.dpuf"It's a shame," said California Senator Barbara Boxer, "but you have to come to a realization around here that at this point in time, the NRA gets the vote." In order to get cc reform passed, they had to pass the gun part. That's the sneaky way Republicans work.

“The same people who voted for Obama to be President with no foreign plicy experience, where the ones screaming about not electing Palin as VP because she had no experience. At least she could see Russion from her kitchen window. LOL. At the end of the day, we all know that BO was elected not on the content of his character, but the color of his skin.”

“If the president is black due to one black parent, then Zimmerman is hispanic/latino for the same reason. What do you consider to be "white" about him? Having a job, caring about his neighbors, not having gold teeth?”

“Um, pretty much being white and having his whole family (like his dad, the judge) being white. lol! Use your eyes.”
“No we will never agree tom- you're grief over your loss prevents you from making any sensible opinion on this matter. You just keep worrying about those gun deaths and ignore the bodies piling up from other methods due to our societies deranged fascination with thuggery and violence.”
“People will tell you the difference between the Trayvon outrage and the Delbert silence is that GZ wasn't arrested or tried right away. Don't believe this. The supposed outrage was for the act itself- what they described as racial profiling and murder. That is exactly waht happend to Delbert, yet, there's no outrage from those same people. Don't forget that the next time your conscious and racial guilt drive you to vote for someone who doesn't believe in your values.”

“no- they complained when it happened, They complained before he was arrested, They complained after he was arrested. They complained after he was tried and found not guilty. They complained because anyone felt differently than they did. Since they aren't complaining about black teens killing whites, we can assume they must be in agreement. “No- the problem is a culture/society that has cheapend life and glorified violence. White or black, they are monsters, yet instead of blaming htem or the broken systems that create them, you want to blame the tool they used to kill. There was a white kid who ran down a black man with his truck- was the problem pick-up trucks? How about the guy who drove down the Santa Monica boardwalk recently running people over- was the problem the ready availibility of automobiles?”
“So you can't accept that it's not guns- even though I've given you a link to info on the exact same situation where a knife was used. You really should decide if you hate murder or if you hate guns. You seem to really only dislike gun deaths. Myself- I'll be angry at the people who continue to blame guns for violence instead of addressing the clear and direct impact of broken families, violent media, and school systems focused on feelings instead of learning. Violent people kill with knives, clubs, machetes, firebombs, and their hands. Dead is dead.”

“Oh my God! You just dont get it. Dont respond we will never agree. Good luck.”
thomasdep on Aug 21, 2013 at 23:43:56
“Dont post stupid things like that, for your own sake, because a gun in the hand makes a small man feel 20 feet tall and once in the hand - they will use it. I'll take my chances with knives, clubs etc. I personally can defend myself and I have no problem with the outcome. Bring THAT on. I have never owned a gun - dont think people should have them and I lost someone in my family to it so I might be biased.”
“Yep. All of our civil rights are going by the day. The only people gaining them are gays and the illegal immigrants. And they're not really gaining much. The leaders(rich and powerful) continue to devide us and keep us under their thumb.”
