Hertzberg left out the context of (alleged) violence. This was dishonest of him and O'Reilly called him out on it.
Also, he was unable to tell O'Reilly's guys that he had actually seen the segment. This made him look bad.
I podcast Hertzberg, and I like him. But he has a tendency to be glib, and this was an instance of this.
O'Reilly's attack was quite effective to those who don't live in the left/liberal echo chamber. It should be a warning to liberals to stop preaching to the choir.”
