The cultural style of building in Switzerland is 180 degrees opposite, and they want to maintain the indigenous architectural culture.

Go to Iran and build a giant church and see if they will allow a steeple with a giant cross on it and see what happens.”

I totally agree with your questions - I want to know WHO gathered the information, WHO sponsored this study, why there were no Oncologists or Gynecologists included in the panel.

“How far over 30 on the BMI are they? I just went online and while I could stand to loose 15 lbs, I am considered just shy of obese - and and certainly not - just short. I don't think the BMI is realistic - especially since muscle weighs more then fat. My husband is 6' 4" and has a very muscular build (no chicken legs) and the BMI calculator says his BMI is 28 - overweight - I assure you if you looked at him - he isn't over weight. He would have to drop 40 lbs to be considered healthy by the BMI - and he would look like a starving man. Men that tall (and strong) carry more - but that doesn't mean it is a beer gut - cause it isn't with him!

I'm not saying that a fitness requirement shouldn't be required - but it should be based on actual physical ability and applied unilaterally not to a selected few.”

When this came out and was followed a few days later with less Pap Smears I was very upset. My husband said "Do what you think you should do. It's your body." Probably the best thing he's ever said to me.

I honestly believe that the Neocons & Insurance companies were behind the push on the new "guidelines" - all the better to defeat Health Care Reform. Beat reformers to the punch - start rationing preventative care before it passes. In the mean time the Insurance companies will use it as a reason not to cover these tests for many women who cannot afford them otherwise and there will be a vary sad loss of lives - womens lives. Which in the eyes of these people are somehow worth less then the cost of these tests.

My father went form no cancer to stage IV cancer in under a year, and it was found by accident as he wasn't supposed to be screened for another year. Now on Chemo he has 40% chance of making it to this time next year. If he was a woman under these guidelines he'd be dead. Plain & Simple.

What they are doing is is no less then mass murder or genocide.”

That means that all Matter & Energy always existed - is a finite amount and therefore is in limited supply - which we already know isn't true since the Universe is STILL expanding.”
