Laura Shatto, Alan Shatto Accused By Russians Officials Of 'Inhuman Treatment' That Led To Death Of Adopted Son Max

“Please focus on the facts. Two children were adopted by a couple from Texas. This couple went through the proper channels in both Russia and USA. After which, they were allowed to adopt these children - American home.

This was a tragic accident that happened to a little boy and his mother – not because he was from Russia and not because he was adopted.

Why now - has Russia found Max's biological mother who is "willing to stay clean" to get Kirill (Max’s younger brother) back? Why didn’t Russia get this mother the help she needed before taking Max and Kirill away from her? I don’t know? Do you?

Is this really about the tragic death of a child and his brother who continues to be loved by his parents? Could this be a political ploy by Russia? Keeping this tragedy in the press; making Max’s parents out to be monsters only fuels Russia's political fire/gains. They have put these parents through hell without knowing all of the facts. Thank God we live in the USA where we are innocent until the facts prove differently.

Russia is spinning this tragic death in the media to encourage Americans to act without facts. From what I have heard or seen in the media, I can't tell if Russia cares about Max, his brother, their parents or his biological mother? Is this about RUSSIAN POLITICS; winning a political game at the expense of Americans and the tragic death of their son?”
