“O.K.....,so let me get this straight.
Left said right is wrong.
Right said left is wrong.
They can't meet terms in the middle.
But left said we must soldier on.
While the right continues to fiddle.
I mean really guys! There are wars to be fought, and healthcare to be imposed upon those who do not want it.
How dare you shut down the government!”
seekerseekingseeker on Oct 6, 2013 at 23:58:25
“In what fantasy world people don't want affordable healthcare ??? I know your's !!!”
gidee on Oct 6, 2013 at 23:55:13
“It's not that people don't want health care. It's that they don't want the other guy to have it.”
“Newton,Columbine, the Navy ship yard, these are all gun free zones and yet people still died, how would stricter gun control stop the criminal, insane,or both from repeating these incidents. The last time a government collected its peoples guns and decreed that only those in power could have them it ended with genocide,Sig Heil!!!!”

“"The last time a government collected its peoples guns and decreed that only those in power could have them it ended with genocide,Sig Heil!!!!"
Using Hitler/Nazi comparisons usually reveals the person to be ill informed on a particular issue. That certainly seems to be the case here. Many countries around the world, including western democracies, have banned certain types of guns. Their governments are not committing genocide. Also, few are calling for the complete confiscation of guns. Stricter regulations and complete confiscation are not the same thing. So please be honest and stop conflating issues and trying to muddy the waters.”
“So Cold in Michigan,if you believe that the weapons being supplied by the CIA are not going to extremist groups or that the chemical weapons that are in Syria did not originate from US operations, welcome to the world of the sheeple. I for one question everything and have done research on the topic, this is a civil war," An Oxymoron I know", it's not up to the US to step into pile of poop after pile of poop. If you really want an idea of what is going on research petro dollars,Syria,Lebanon, etc....,it's a sad truth but it's the truth.By the way did you know that three weeks before the US intervened in Iraq that Saddam Hussein had started processes of changing payment for oil from american dollars,"the only way anyone can buy oil",strange huh?”
“So let me get this straight, Al Qaeda threatens U.S with draining us financially with big acts or small acts of terrorism, yet we are supplying arms and anti tank weaponry to rebel Al Qaeda in Syria.Yeah I guess we are doing exactly what he wants, makes a whole lot of sense huh?
No more wars please!”
ChauncyG on Sep 13, 2013 at 11:06:04
“so just come home and then what??? i guess they will just forget about it all right??
if we stay out if their country...you think that will will keep others out of our country? the whole point of removing chemical weapons is underscored by this terrorists statement. Chemical warfare is almost indefensible, what will you do when YOUR loved ones are gassed?”
Cold in Michigan on Sep 13, 2013 at 11:03:34
“So..you believe that all rebels are Al Qaeda? Perhaps you need to do some reading on what is really going on.”
“Have the majority of U.S citizens lost their minds?, who wants another senseless conflict that will only cause more financial strain on our already flailing debt?,let the U.N be the police of the world for awhile, not saying it's a perfect solution by any means, but let's stop spending money on the industrial war machine that we created, and put it to better use right here in the states!”
jenpad29 on Sep 11, 2013 at 13:13:39
“Find a Cave and avoid all senseless War conflicts or wait for the Space ship from Outer Space to take you to Planet Jupiter ! Be Happy in your World melt all your guns and make happy wheels wagons and happy bikes to ride and play ! Happy day !”

“It sounds like it on HP, but those people are not the "majority". Congressmen have been receiving calls from their constituents calling for a "NO" vote, around 8/9 to 1. Mine is a Democrat and still sitting on the fence. A lot of people are watching him right now. If he votes yes it could have some serious repercussions next time he comes up for re-election.”
cashey on Sep 11, 2013 at 12:35:10
“call youe Congressional reps.........mine are getting calls 100 to 1 against Syria involvement.
And, I live in a very blue State.”
supermat1 on Sep 11, 2013 at 12:31:34
“A majority of Americans don't want anything to do with this civil war.
As far as the U.N. goes, it's a worthless organization.”
“Alright Kerry lets talk about pictures, like the one from Iraq from 2003 that you said was Syrian dead......,yeah maybe it's best you leave pictures out of it and bring in some actual facts.Like the fact that the majority of American citizens do not want us involved in Syria's civil war,we have enough problems in this country from housing to financial. So reiterate to the illiterate,no more war!”
“Why are people so willing to follow?,why do we need more war?,what gives us the right to take a Leadership position when we have people in our own country that are unemployed starving and homeless.Stop the perpetual idea that might makes right.”
DC Pirate 28 on Sep 8, 2013 at 11:42:34
“Simple question what exactly did we do on Sept 11 to warrant the deaths of 3,000 innocent americans? Yes our country does have people unemployed and starving and yet look at what our President is pushing which is amnesty for 12 to 20 million illegals who will further dumb down our education system. Flood the job market with more low end unskilled workers further depressing wages and creating a further burden on our broke safety net programs.”
“It's only a conspiracy if you believe everything that they tell you,Kerri's picture of Syria which in fact is from a 2003 Iraq article, chemical weapons which will most likely never be found, come on guys, stop believing everything they show you,it's called distraction. And that's how some off the worlds greatest magicians get you to believe their tricks.”
“Can we please focus on our own problems for a while, unemployment rate, failing economy, homeless, starving American children, housing crisis,etc...Why perpetually continue oversea conflict after oversea conflict. It's really time for the American public to wake up and see the truths that are out there.”
fl2007rn on Sep 5, 2013 at 11:56:42
“I agree. We have no business making war with Syria. Our military is already spread too thin and I don't believe when Obama says no boots on the ground.”
“I am not against getting our oil domestically, but we have a lot of people against any oil drilling or pipe lines in the U.S for fear of destroying the brown tit mouses habitat,or some other species. And yet I think you missed my point, oil of any kind can only be bought and paid for in U.S dollars, not gold, not Dinar's,not Pesos...it really is one of the biggest scams ever.Saddam Huessien tried switching it to gold sales and look what happened,WMD,I wish the world were nicer but it's not.”
DC Pirate 28 on Sep 5, 2013 at 11:58:13
“No its not nice and never will be. We have the recourses to be energy independent but we choose not to be thanks to the green community . We fight our wars with both hands behind our backs thanks to the peace crowd. Time to wake up and understand that we need to take a leadership position in this world and tell the rest of the world to follow or be ready for the consequences.”
“This is all part of a bigger plan guys, next will be Lebanon,Iran,etc..,research petro dollars, kinda funny the only currency allowed to buy oil is American dollars. So lets invade Syria on hunches and false information because we would save lives, forget about the Fukishima nuclear plant leaking radiation into the oceans of our planet, forget about all the voices saying no more war,.....lets just forget the past and keep repeating our mistakes.”
DC Pirate 28 on Sep 5, 2013 at 10:28:07
“If oil is the problem then why would you be against getting ours here domestically. Why not build the pipeline. Why not partner with Canada, Mexico and the US to make us energy independednt. Low cost energy drives the world and always will so you have 2 choices get it here or deal with terror merchants in the middle east. Which one is it.”
“Then you are just another sheep following the herd mentality, the British have found no concrete proof, and the french reports have shown no real proof either, that is why Putin has asked for proof from any government entity before proceeding. Why on earth are we as a nation more interested with Syria than we are with humanitarian efforts for the Fukishima nuclear leak in Japan.Priorities man.”
Barry JJ Binks on Sep 4, 2013 at 12:04:00
“The British are appeasers, they have fallen back to their old Chamberlain ways. YOu suck with you priorities statement. Kids and their mothers and women being gassed to death is not a prioty to you? You need a spine and you need a soul most of all. ”
