“Excellent piece Mr. Bloomenthal. I watch Morning Joe and I saw both of your appearances and you handled the interview very well. Mr. Scarborough is a "has been" congressman who craves attention and respect from the GOP and he gets NONE. Just look at his book sales. I did not see the GOP going out and buying his book in bulk like the do for so many of their conservative brethren. Scarborough comes across on television as an irrogant know-it-all who really doesn't know anything. Mr. Scarborogh thought for sure that he was going to man-handle you during your second appearance on Morning Joe but you man-handled him. Well done Mr. Bloomenthal”

“I'm from Rocky Mount, NC. This story has been covered by WRAL and the News and Observer, but I totally agree with many of the post about the coverage of this story. When I saw the story on WRAL-TV there was only a breif mention and I haven't seen anything since. (That was back in July) I have seen only one story about this tragedy in the N&O. However, our local paper, the Rocky Mount Telegram has ran several stories on this tragedy. Sheriff Knight (Edgecombe County) is a black man who has a stellar reputation as an enforcer of the law and I believe he is doing everything he can to find this insane person who has committed this horrific acts.”

“I knew something was fishy about this incident the minute I saw it on television yesterday. This incident is a prime example of how this national debate is really not about making healthcare affordable to all, but rather about a problem that has plagued this great nation since its existence. . . RACISM. These right-wing extremist are angry that they have a black man as their president. If not, why would this white man (MSNBC said it was a woman) snatch a Rosa Parks poster from an African American woman and destroy it? I would like to hear what his rationale was. What is really pissing me off about this story is the fact that this white man (or woman) has not been prosecuted for this obvious assault and destruction of private property. Where is this African American woman's justice? The clip that is being played in heavy rotation makes it looks as if this African American woman is the antagonist.”

I can clearly see the changes in Senator McCain's personal character. His attempts at being a "one-liner Ronald Reagan-like politician" are falling short and Americans are taking notice. He was more likeable when he aspired to be a straight talker. Senator McCain is NO Ronald Reagan. Great article!
BTW, I saw the video footage of the reporter asking Senator McCain about Corsi's book of fiction and I am inclined to believe that Senator McCain may not have heard the reporter. I have always heard that the hearing is the first thing to go as one gets older and in McCain's case, he has probably suffered decades of hearing loss by now.”
